Mayuri acted really well today though....if anyone still salvages Malini, it's her.

True her portrayal of malini is really good. Anyone else would have gone full ott with the acting. That is the usp of the show, powerful acting.

She acts really well. She does justice to her character. I like her expressions :)

Absolutely. Even when I'm already sure this show is about to devolve into sheer drama... which ironically I usually avoid with a passion... the performances by the main trio are so good it really draws me in.

Despite misgivings and annoyances at the character, I felt pity for Malini when she was crying today, so props to Mayuri for that.

Aasuon ka barish episode. Cannot decide between malini and adi, who cried more and better. Heroines ko takkar de raha hai gm in the crying scenes.😆

Adi aaj bilkul prakash ji ke raaste pe chal raha hai feelings dikhane mein . V day par Aparna said to Malini ki Prakash ji ne kabhi ILU nahi bola par woh har din aise kuch karte hain ki pata chal jata hai he loves me w/o saying ILU. Aur Malini ka toh ILU bolo toh romantic aur na bolo toh he doesn't love anymore tag.

I agree.....I felt bad for Malini too in the scene when she was crying that she thought she married an honest man so she doesn't know what has changed to make him lie to her. But then by the end of the epi when they dragged out her goodbye scene with the Tripathis, so I started to feel annoyed again😆.

I would have felt more sympathy for Malini if her ultimate choice hadn't again been one of walking away rather than trying to keep a relationship together.....the fact that she has now fully started succumbing to her mother's advice is deffo foreshadowing an unfortunate turn to her character....the more she listens to her mother's "advice", the more she will lose whatever remnants of a relationship are left.

The fact that she couldn't even stay back for Adi's family that she claims to care about....that she couldn't look past her own need to get proof of Adi still missing her is why Malini is going to continue devolving for a while.

Well guys, the precap scene is finally here😆.....and for a change it happened exactly as they showed it😆.....with one minor change....it wasn't Imlie Aditya KUMAR Tripathi.....just Imlie Aditya Tripathi😆

Backing up a bit.....Adi wasn't really shown introspecting further about his alter ego realization....but he did manage to call Malini simply to tell her that he will stay back an extra day😆. Malini let go of all her shak temporarily to rain desperate "I love you's" on him but Adi's only response (even through tortured guilty tears) was that he will be delayed by a day😆. Malini my dear, you've already lost him in many ways....he couldn't even muster up a token I love you in response to your many I love you's. And then he proceeded to lie on top of that once more about where he is😆.

For a change, there are storms brewing around her but Imlie mostly gets to be blissfully unaware😆.....she has no idea how much Adi-Malini's marriage is falling apart while she enjoys these few moments with her Babusahib.

Most of the episode was built around Malini's emotional unraveling as she further broke down on hearing Adi lie to her on the phone and then after trying to find hope in her wedding album and wedding video, she finally succumbed to her Mom's advice that Adi needs to learn to value her so she should walk out of the house.

Once again that contrast was set up pretty strikingly. Malini is walking out of the house with the EXPECTATION that Adi will value her, come to heel over this stunt.....while Imlie left him without having any expectations.....even now she is quite content to do a pooja on her own for a mannat for him and is willing to bear recriminations from others to spare him the awkwardness of doing rituals. So then is it any surprise that the girl who doesn't approach relationships with a sense of cause/effect expectations is the one who is being rewarded with the regard that is long overdue to her?

Today, Imlie didn't ask anything of Adi other than an extra day to attend her pooja.....instead, she got an Adi who stepped up himself to do the pooja with her....apni MARZI se.....and then also proceeded to give his name to her.....that moment when Imlie closed her eyes, dreading that he will take Malini's name and he takes Imlie's name instead.....and then simultaneously the Adi-Malini wedding video gets stuck😆.....what symbolism all around.....lol

The final scene was also symbolic of more of this....Adi-Imlie stepping forward together into the mandir while Malini takes her bags and steps out of the Tripathi house after a long drawn goodbye.....lol.....things are shifting for now.

Finally a new precap as well....seems like it will be a poignant night conversation b/w Adi-Imlie as they sit and guard some mannat ka diya.....and it seems Imlie will tell him again that she alone is enough to nibhaao her rishta.....and then later Adi will injure himself trying to preserve the flame of her diya.....so much symbolism 😆

Anyways, a good, regular Imlie epi.....but I still feel a lot of things remain up in the air. Adi's flip is still pending....he will likely flip when he learns Malini has left the house and that she knows he lied to her. So far no signs of Imlie returning with Adi either.....so let's see what's in store for our Imliya even as Babusahib heads back to face some consequences.

I felt so bad for the poor Tripathis today.....Malini's decision has been taken in childish impulse and the Tripathis are taking the guilt on themselves....in this moment, I did wish Imlie was with them....woh sabko sambhaal leti.

Today Malini said clearly the Adiyta who will be back will be Tripathi's son but not Malini's husband.

Today after a long time, I didn't find Malini intolerable. I know it's not obvious why she is reacting so strongly, but if you have been in a relationship with someone for 7 years, itna toh pata chal hi jata hain when he is lying. She just knows he is. Her going back to her Maika is also justified I feel. Sometimes a person needs some space to understand herself better, to understand ppl around her better.

The pure happiness in Imlie's face when Aditya willingly added his name to hers. A person who has spent all her life without a surname, finally has one. That's all she wanted. The recognition which her mom never got. A beautiful episode again. I loved it. ❤️
