I had a mother once
Before I was born
I have felt her loving caress
While still in her womb
As a child I wondered
Where she had gone
Nothing I could do
My life just went on
When I learnt to walk
I fell time and again
And she wasnt there
To tend to my pain
I faltered
And fell in love
Even then I thought, my mother
Sent her from above
Wicked she was
But a new mother I did find
With a heart full of love
And a caring mind
Her smiles were my smiles
Her tears, my tears
Every word of hers
I held above mine
But now when I know
That she had pretended too
My old wounds are open
I am orphaned..yet again
