Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai - 28 Aug 2025 EDT
Hi Sush, I hope your wrist is feeling better than before.
I was a bit outraged with yesterday's episode when Saahir claimed I am human, I have weaknesses and I can make mistakes. Because some of the mistakes Saahir's made in the past were not minor enough to just be excused as human error. Human error is someone being rude or unintentionally hurting another person's feelings. Human error does not include heinous acts like burning down buildings or gambling with someone's life. That crosses the limits to a completely different level. All the justifications Saahir was giving to Arzoo were getting on my nerves. Like him claiming he has always rectified his mistakes on his own will. Nope not all the time. The bullet scenario happened by chance and gave Saahir the chance to rectify his mistake. It wasnt just his own effort but fate and destiny played a hand in that. And buying a home for one person does not undo the damage of the factory burning. He probably financially hurt many families and God knows what sacrifices they had to make, we only the saw the story of one. The other thing that bothered me was that instead of making all these excuses and justifications up infront of Arzoo why couldn't he just proceed with a simple apology? Needless to say I was quite disappointed.
But today as you stated yourself they addressed it much better. He is taking actions to affect all the people that were harmed. Returning the factory land can help many people not just one family. Not just one's own wife's family. I actually like the idea that Saahir didn't verbally tell this bit to Arzoo and she found out through her mother. He didn't rave about his good deeds, another plus point.
I agree with most of your points. Payal is pretty but her acting at times turns you off. Another thing I liked about today was about Mr. Zaki. As you said he didn't let one heart break stop him from moving forward with life. NOT only that but when Anam pointed out the bitter truth to him that he hasn't accomplished much in life. He didn't take it to heart so much that he vowed to do ANYTHING to prove her wrong. He humbly accepts her criticism and though he tries to do things to prove himself not to be worthless; he didn't let her words get under his skin.
Since were on the theme of letting things go, I hope Saahir in not excluded in this. If others can let things go for him than I think it's time he lets things go for others. His promise was one thing that drove him to the extent that made him commit some of the most heinous acts of his lifetime. I hope he does not repeat the same mistake. His monologues are indicating otherwise. He needs his 100 crore once again. Once again he claims he with willing to go to ANY lengths to prove Zeenat wrong? Saahir if this is about the moving forward and the forgiving process than I think it's time you also let the promise go and be thankful for what you have. If it gets fulfilled by chance with the help of Alvira and Zaki than that is a different story.
Unlike the excuse he gave Arzoo that his promise made him to wrong things and that can be right or wrong, I disagree! The promise was driven by ego, grudge and wrath which only lead you to do bad things.
Thanks Red! Pain is down but not gone...haven't seen the doctor yet...but could be Tendonitis ...not CTS...won't post much...
