Hi Aidan...yes...IPK days were fun...actually we have been having fun here too...so can't complain...well I guess I could about a few things...but choose not to...Not in good spirits ...because something I had worked on got the axe...straight from the executive team...well they are telling me...nothing against me...which is all fine...but it is a downer...something you have worked on...going down ...also concerned not for myself...but some people who worked with me on this...may be impacted...😕

Thank u for making a nice post.
I luv how they aren't showing Sahir's character to be of a teenage luv sick puppy. He is trying to cruise with Arzoo but u can c the "trying" part. The effort is there but it's a long course.
Thanx for putting the sweet song up It put on a smile on my gloomy face.
I can't fathom that the show is really ending
I posted this on ur last thread 🤪 didn't realize my mistake.
I luvvvd how Arzoo said that she can skip a meal for him without thinking once about herself. True luv does make u do all the nonsensical things in the world. I always found Arzoo's luv to be very shallow. One day Sahir and nxt day Zaki. Yuck :( not even a day's break between the two brothers. I don't care about the reasonings but even the lowest kind of one sided luv would need time to heal. So I like how Arzoo is after her marriage actually falling in luv. Her insecurities about their relation also r the net result of falling for the man of her life. It's only human to feel jealous, get insecure and to crave for being Luvd. The story is getting interesting day by day and now they talk about taking the show off air
Abhi abhi to mile ho
Abhi na karo chhootne ki baat
Abhi abhi toh pasand aaye ho
Abhi abhi roothne ki baat
Abhi abhi toh roshni aayi
Abhi naa karo munh chhupane ki baat :(

<font size="2" face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif">This quotation is spoken by Maxim after he has revealed the truth about Rebecca's death to the narrator. Although the revelation about Rebecca allows the narrator to overcome her insecurities and achieve equal footing with Maxim, it also means the loss of her innocence. In Monte Carlo, Maxim was entranced by the narrator's innocence and purity specifically because it was so different from Rebecca's crass immodesty and sexual familiarity. Now, because of his actions, he has destroyed the narrator's most precious quality, and he has no one to blame but himself.</font>
Many thanks for the thread Sush, and exquisite collages and quotes Shweta.
Words cannot begin to express my appreciation to you both, don't mean to sound overly dramatic but if not for this thread I would have given up on this show long ago.And the discourse as usual, is the one thing I really look forward to on this thread. So thought provoking, eloquent, insightful ...have to admit that many times I'm convinced more of a thought process and intelligence quotient goes into these posts than the script!!!Which leads me to the script itself. I'm not about to delve into all the external factors at play here, there are many issues ... I can only guess. Perhaps the story may have turned out differently under better circumstances, who knows? Like others, I would have preferred if Zeenat was the late wife rather than the first (and other) wife, but that was always the premise of the show from day one. I watched it anyway...mea culpa! The thing is that sometimes I have to recognize that for the drama quotient to be heightened ,unpleasant ,unrealistic and undesirable elements have to be introduced . And it doesn't have to make sense, or be logical either...it just has to create drama and/or suspense. So as much as I'm peeved by Sahir's reluctance to come clean with Arzoo ,especially after everything she's endured at the hands of him and his family, I accept that this is a (clumsy ?) attempt to recreate the Rebecca scenario . His apparent thoughtlessness , his reluctance to reassure Arzoo ,is supposedly to protect and spare her the distress and trauma of his past life. These only provide the fertile conditions to instill serious doubts and insecurities in the mind of Arzoo, leading her to perhaps do something drastic soon...perhaps run back to Lucknow? Eventually to be rescued by her knight in tarnished armor? Of course lots more sinister stuff and near death experiences to occur before then. Sigh! When all is said and done, this is supposed to be a love story: between one man and one woman. That's why we're all still here I think. Let's hope the powers that be keep that in focus, and not all the hocus pocus that we're subjected to ad nauseum. Even if Sahir refuses to allay Arzoo's doubts and fears, the writers should give the viewers some little insight as to his thought process, please CVs throw us some crumbs !
