I believe both situations must impact her equally. Which one hurts more? We dont know. The fact is Arzoo by nature is shown to be very giving. She put her reputation at risk to help Zaki. She was willing to stand in front of a bulldozer to save a factory and people's job. So was it completely out of nature for her to put her own pain aside to heal him? I guess not. Whichever thing was more important she always thought about the other person in the equation.Arzoo is giving by nature. But when does she start putting someone above her family? When Nausheen was hospitalised...Dadi felt Arzoo's distress...No one but Arzoo knew Sahir was the cause of that distress...The way he behaved, his reactions, her feelings...She had subconsciously started putting him above her family- all that had mattered to her, all her life.(And the bulldozer thing, she never expected it not to stop..she was paralysed by fear when it did not stop- it was a stunt that simply went wrong and would have been very costly. Zaki- She clearly explained in a monologue that she was putting up with it because it would affect Sahir..At that point,Zaki had told her that they had to handle this very sensitively- since it had a huge bearing on THE DEAL. )2. Sahir apna dard baant reha hai...Unknowingly...He is not in an emotional state to realise how he is affecting Arzoo emotionally...The fact that he took that bullet for her...Says everything he wants to tell her...It was a promise and an apology.
Precisely why we cannot view Sahir as a normal person...He is thrashing about like a wild animal...He needs to learn to channel his pain into something productive- not destructive...
See this is the fundamental differences I am having with most people here. Where do we draw the line here? How much does Saahir's depression excuse? How many misnomers, misdeeds, or ignorance of someone else's emotions. For me it shouldnt excuse anything at all. Mana like Sush told me love is not a mathematics equation. But I from experience have seen that dealing with someone else that is depression or not in the right state of mind can take its toll on the other person too. In fact in this example the other person ended up derpessed at the end. How much weight can Arzoo carry? How much weight is it right for her to carry? I dont beleive in keeping scores but it does take two to tango. Forget the fact that she is a woman (though on Indian Television the woman is always potrayed as the punching bag or the healing device). But I hope the CVs do realize that she is a human with emotions too. She too can reach a breaking point. She has a lot on shoulders right now.Yes, she too can reach a breaking point. I am waiting for that...(Except for a Zoya who walked out on her Asad, I am yet to see a 4L Female lead doing that to the hero...But if it can happen once..it can def happen again.😉)...It is not an EXCUSE...it is a CRIME...and he will have to pay for it. There is no excuse for being blind or depressed or manipulative or destructive...He simply has to MEND HIS WAYS.3. Destructive...Only the extremes of situations make him react. Until there was a threat on her life, he did not know how to help her feel better. And emotionally blunt..to the extent he doesn't see why Arzoo is asking these Qs.
Uh-oh so your telling me that Saahir will only start to see Arzoo's pain driven from insecurity until she has reached a boiling point. Perhaps driven to extreme levels due to insecurity. How healthy is this for Arzoo? How healthy is this? Arzoo will have to ask herself...The point is , she does not realise the toll it can take on her. All she knows is that she cannot let go of the bracelet, no matter how bad he has been to her.. he is her WEAKNESS...It is actually not healthy. He should be her strength- not her weakness. So..They have just started their journey..From weakness to strength.😉😲4. Sush !😳😆Red, I think U and I may be the few ones lamenting the absence of that businesswoman track...Apparently they swallowed a track where Arzoo was supposed to give it back to Sahir...😡
Yes I am totally lamenting that track didnt happen now. And that stupid spooky/unintentional comedy track came in between. I was afraid that if I lamented Saahir for being a ruthless bussiness men how was I going to justify Arzoo's actions. But come to think of it would have been the best way to make Saahir wake up and smell the coffee of his own deeds. And see how pathetic someone else looked living the life he did. Anything was better than Arzoo's anger melting away due to polgamy. This is one bit where I disagree with U😳. I firmly believe it was not insecurity that drove Arzoo to melt...If I remember right..Arzoo was already dazed after the murder and the investigation and Zeenat's re- entry and her experience with the choking and Zeenat's hand and eye drama...I don't remember her melting towards him then...She had become civil to him...Given the circumstances..Since she needed some kind of support..and he had been that..especially when he showed her her place...and promised her that no matter what happened between them, they'd stay in this room..That was one big promise too.(Arzoo has clearly forgotten this😕 after she saw the sketchbook..😆)...Anyway, after that he went all out..so..I don't believe insecurity drove her to him...It will only drive her away from him...Even now...Dressing up for Sahir...I think now she is trying to make up...After nearly losing him to death...her efforts are to make sure she doesn't lose him...Zeenat is still in her subconscious...The day she knows what or who she is fighting...How she'd respond depends on where Arzoo feels she stands in Sahir's life on that day.5. Did he go above and beyond there?😭A question Arzoo might be asking in a few days' time?😉 I guess KA might put it across quite bluntly to her.Husband's First Wife.....The number differentiates her from this matter. I feel sooner or later, Arzoo is going to feel like she is the Farah in SAC- Zeenat relationship...I guess she made a promise to sell herself for the sake of her family...He threatened to extinguish them...She would have continued to hate him...But deep down, she must have known that he cared...that fatal wound he took on himself...Arzoo stopped playing games...or even asking questions. But I feel Arzoo is never going to feel confident about what she is to Sahir, until he makes it crystal clear...by actions or words...that he'd choose her over Zeenat any day...That can happen only after Zeenat comes back in all her glory.
That's the other thing her anger didnt start melting after the bullet wound injury. Insecurity made her anger melt away before she should have even cared. That was the most regressive thing could have happened. Imagine if your angry at your husband for something and he decides to bring another woman into the house? Would it be time to say marriage is over dear. Or would it be time to say please dont leave me I should never have gotton mad at you. The the track was executed was very distasteful. Perhaps because they were more focused on the spooky track.I got your point😊.It never occurred to me that way, as I explained above.
6. Arzoo knew what she was in for, when she agreed to marry him...In fact, she even spat out that Zeenat must have left him because of his behaviour...
Two significant things I felt:
1. Sahir notices that Arzoo wears the bracelet...He knows she still has feelings...
2. The moment he brings up bringing Zeenat back home, the first thing he looks out for is, Arzoo...He is feeling very sorry there..I loved that expression HC gave there...
Well that goes to show that he already has realized. I felt since he knows he left that conversation unfinished it was his job to finish it. Perhaps if he had Arzoo wouldnt be feeling the way she is today. He was ready to tell her that day that Zeenat didnt mean anything to him. If he was ready than, than what is stopping him now?
Because he feels he has told that message already...By keeping Zeenat out..Telling her that no matter what, his room would be 'their' room..Taking the bullet..Believing her enough to investigate on Zeenat further..
7. He cannot help it that he has to keep Zeenat here.
Yes, in a way it is Zeenat's house more than Arzoo or Saahir's but again he should have thought about this before he married Arzoo. Will he ever be able to wash away his past? Zeenat will always have first rights to the home. Thus Arzoo will always have to live under the same roof as his ex. Will he ever be able to give Arzoo the type of marital rights she deserves? Will he ever be able to keep her completely happy?
..And will Arzoo ever be able to look past the fact that she would never be Sahir's first wife..?
Questions to be answered later, I guess.
8. He has shown that he'd give up his life for her..That ought to be a big message...
Agreed that is a big message.
9. He decides to take Zeenat to hospital because he believes Arzoo must have seen something if she says so... but KA stops him...
Agreed!
10. He doesn't know that Arzoo is insecure now after the way he has dismissed and shown disinterest regarding Zeenat...He does not know that she has unearthed the sketch book and is getting constant feeds from KA..
I think he could sense Arzoo was insecure when he first brought Zeenat home. Again how much does his pain excuse his ignorance? I dont think we will ever come to agreement here. Its not like he hasnt felt the pain of insecurity before. He use to get jealous when Arzoo use to accidently collide into Zaki. At that time she was just a girl he was attracted to right now Saahir is Arzoo's husband.
It is not that pain makes him ignorant. He only ever intended to tell her that she meant much more than Zeenat ever did...and he believes he has put that message across...And now it seems like she is not going to stop with one Q. She will not too..Arzoo will not stop until she finds out what went wrong exactly...she will dig deep. He does not want that...Unfortunately, right now...Arzoo will be sent on a tangent by KA..Already there are too many things distracting the couple from communicating. Let us see.
11. (BTW, I believe Nausheen would have jumped at the opportunity to live with her shauhar- any number of wives...she has that marriage forever thing drilled into her🥱...)
Isnt Arzoo still happy to be with Saahir irregardless of the fact that he hasnt cleared what type of relationship he shares with Zeenat. She surely jumped at the opportunity of dinner. This after Kurti Appa told her that she might just be a momentary flavor. And she seemed to believe her. I believe I am still missing the difference here. 😕
A lot happened after KA's flavour dialogue. She started feeling she was this bad luck factor...unwanted bad omen...He called her up...Sensed the hurt in her voice..Tried to make her feel better..The concern was genuine..Ever since the bullet, she knows his concern is genuine..She will have to battle her demons as of now or learn to ask straightforward questions🤔. If she took the sketch book and addressed her insecurity with clarity, I believe Sahir would reassure her again.😊

Isn't it ironic that modern day pakistani serials do better justice depicting a woman's emotions than Indian ones. I mean I dont mean to generalize. Here is the problem with following the IF junta, they only wanted romance. They wanted to Arzoo to forget all the emotional abuse Saahir put her through. They wanted her to forget she was the second woman. They didn't like anyone like Alvira or Zaki telling Saahir how wrong he was? Why because they weren't perfect either and had human error? They basically wanted Saahir to get away with his wrong doings scott free the way he did? I am not against romance as long as everyone's feelings and emotions are dealt with in the right way first. Which I felt just wasn't done with Arzoo. Instead they introduced something regressive to make her forget all her abuse.

Hi Red/ Shwets,Yes...I agree, it is best not to go down this line of discussion...On a lighter note...having another winter blast here today...Red...are you also affected where you are? This year it seems relentless...and according to Mr. groundhog we have six more weeks of winter ...😲Anybody watched the Grammys? I missed it...Looks like Sam Smith picked up quite a few...which I would have expected anyways...

S,With all due respect ...can we not compare shows from other countries plz ( Sush sorry, I don't think it's approbate to compare shows just because it's a Muslim story...Format of Pakistani shows is not the same ...let's leave it at that ...whole new discussion ) . I agree with yourr POV but...Let's not drag IF janta into this discussion ...You think IF janta is your TRP audience ? Certainly the makers don't see it that way ...If they had to listen to the IF janta we would not have had the spooky track ...The blame lies on many factors ...let's just enjoy the last few weeks things are not changing, and will not change in the future either ... Sorry if I have hurt your feelings ...
