Today's episode really emphasised why I like this show despite all the problems I have with it...Sahir appears on screen and that's enough..tolerating all the other nonsense becomes easier!
He is so cute as the romantic and awkwardly romantic husband wanting to take his wife for dinner...buying her roses...smiling shyly thinking about giving her the roses. What a romantic date this would have been...
And Arzoo is ready to do whatever Mr Husband says...even skip dinnerš. Of course Mr Romantic Husband doesn't want that...he wants to take her out...and she decides to ensure she knocks his socks off and dresses up so that he can't take his eyes off her!
But can we be so lucky that we get to see them on a date...how can we be with KA and her kurtipan...
First she fills Arzoos head with nonsense about a second wife thinking less of herself than the first wife..then goes on to tell her how mesmerized by Zeenat Sahir was...so much so that he became a poet because of her..and the unkindest cut...Arzoo will mean nothing to Sahir when zeenat wakes up š..and Arzoo of course is disturbed and wants to know when she will mean so much to Sahir that he writes shayari for her...he has already read shayari hasn't he...
Arzoos concern for Sahir was sweet...thinking whether something else had gone wrong with him..based on Anams words...the frantic phone call of a typical wife ...š³..and Sahir......ICan hear her tears...and wants her not to cry..Awww!
The dress from Saiyara that Arzoo wants to impress Sahir with is intercepted by KA and changed with a typical zeenat saree..wonder how the blouse will fit or is that Arzoos??š¤..anyway so the outfit is one that according to KA..Sahir really lived seeing zeenat in...remains to be seen whether that's why Arzoo goes ahead and wears it and leaves her hair loose as well!
And as expected romance flies through the window as soon as Sahir sees her and he tells her...tum zeenat ki tarah kabhi nahi ban paogi...ouch! He doesn't know what happened with Ka and she will misinterpret according to what she thinks! Ho chuka romance! Of course this was tbe precap so we will see next week..along with the "accident"
Along with this we also have Alvira ordering Sahir around suddenly...wasn't he the decision maker...she says she has decided and spoken to ..wonder of wonders...Sheraz...and Anam has to go...because she insulted Arzoo...hmmm...knee jerk reaction for sure.. Is she paving the way for Zaki? And why is she the decision maker suddenly...Sahir is left trying to reason with her.
Anyway the highlights were...Anams ridiculously comical dressing...Lot of KA...KA fueling Arzoos insecurity ..Arzoos sweet concern and ...romantic Sahir š³.
