I do not get who is doing what in this show..
But a few things off the top of my head struck me:
1. Arzoo and Sahir are definitely in love and know it now. and like u said, there is gradual faith. I loved how Sahir reassured her that he is on her side...or rather, their sides are the same. It reminded me of a previous episode, when KA told Arzoo to get out of Sahir's room, and Arzoo later said to herself that she needs his saath more than anything else at the moment, and well. that's what he's been doing, even though he is a bit more subtle about it.
See thats why I love your takes 😃 .. u surely know the best how to connect the dots and close the loops 😳 .. yeah I remember Aarzoo telling that she needs his saath and trust the most right now and well yesterday Sahir exactly did that by supporting her 😳
2. Amidst the tensions, it is clear he wants Arzoo to be a bit destressed; they are after all recently married too. and need to work on their relationship. Besides, he never got a chance to make her smile, much.
Besides, I think he craves getting pampered, and finally, can at least act like a child, who hates fruits, and doesn't like medicines. He is shocked every time Arzoo jataaos haq on him; he's not used to being treated in this way, and he is perhaps just trying to get used to it. Chalta hai :D
I so agree with u .., he was so lonely earlier that he never got a chance to live like a nomral person who wants to pampered by his loved ones or throw some tantrums in love etc etc ... there was noone to hear him out in that house that he could do all that .. But finally he got a companion with whom he can afford to get naughty and enjoy his life .. 😳
3. The holding back from physical intimacy. I think there is a big reason for that, and that could be that Sahir didn't want to be in a polygamous marriage anyway. Perhaps he and Zeenat were trying to get a divorce or something? Perhaps, that's what their last argument was about before her 'accident'? And that was his first deal- with Zeenat? That he will get a divorce if he proves himself as a businessman?
I can't believe it was only an ego issue..it has to be more than that. Coz, Sahir is smarter than that, as a character.
U do hv a point .. no wonder Sahir is so desperate to fulfill that deal promise and wants her to come out of coma .. mayb he is waiting for the day he can divorce her and comes out of this messed up relationship but she might hv refused to give him a divorce till he proves himself as a businessman and gives her the needed alimony post divorce ,. so mayb that was her condition and so he is desperate for the deal to get that divorce finally .. I remember Sahir telling Aarzoo once that "Zeenat ko aur bahut kuch chahiye" .. so that was an indication too
And yeah thats why he is holding back in terms of physical proximity towards Aarzoo till he gets that divorce from Zeenat .. mayb Zeenat cheated on him .. so thats why he wants the divorce ..
Anyway, I kind of digressed. Technically, he isn't only Arzoo's husband; and if he does feel guilty, it could be a lingering sense of guilt? I am not sure what they are trying to portray here, but I don't think Sahir is involved in any of these issues but he knows what they are about (his past and the secrets of their house).
I guess unless the past comes out we can only assume but can never b sure .. he does feel indebted to Alvira for some reason .. wonder if its because Alvira brought him up like a mother and so he feels answerable to her .. or else he seems to b pretty detached from this family and right now only considers Aarzoo as his family ..
