The Cvs have changed the writer of the show!

Last two months have been pretty taxing on us with insipid tracks, butchering of lead characters and heavy OTT scenes with absolutely no comic relief. Inspired by the new genre of the Humsafars, I decided to do my own investigation to find out who murdered the main love story. 😆

Yesterday I watched a few episodes of HS again, the initial ones, to see what was so different way back then. I realized i watched everything with a smile on my face. I saw the episode in which Arzoo throws her Jhumroo at Sahir..lol..😆 It was super hilarious, she had so much of spunk and despite Zaki's drunk act, the affection between the two brothers was just so evident. The scenes between SAAz were very natural and well executed. Arzoo's family troubles ran parallel but they didn't eat up the leads screen space, in fact everything was integrated so beautifully. Sahir's anger and OCD was fun to watch too, I remember all the posts that were created on his door opening scenes😆

Even Anam and KA's scheming, though vampish, gave way to the amazing Jungle and hospital hug scenes. Lalit Mohan shot many of the episodes, no wonder we got such eye candy ones.

I checked the writers name, the first 53-54 episodes were written by a writer named Sufi and Rahil Qazi wrote the screen play. The Cvs changed the writer just around the Arzoo preggy track and brought in Harneet Singh and a new screen play writer. After that the whole scenario changed, The humor is all but gone and there are too many loose ends along with inconsistent characters. Zaki's obsessive OTT proposal and the subsequent Nikaah scene were the worst of them all.

No offence to the new writer or the new creative team but the I guess the inception team was way better because they had created the characters and knew what they thought and how they reacted. Maybe Harneet was told to write the characters with a different perspective, I can only give her a benefit of doubt, but the soul of the story is lost. I really miss the funny one liners of Arzoo, where she booed charas of everybody, and threatened to do ulti.

Maybe its time the Cvs added back the original writer to the creative team to help humsafar's get back on its promised love track instead of experimenting with new genres.

U know Madhu
I feel more than the writer...its the creative head to be blamed

The writer will write a scene as per the direction given by the creative head abt a track

For eg if the cv wants love triangle...and says build it on aarzoo preggers incident...There is very little the writer can do about it

It seems the cv just doesn't want to focus on saaz

Haan you are right it is always the creative's vision but the writer will interpret the track in his/her own way na and will do the characterization. Sufi was there when the preggy track started, see how tight the story line is till episode 52. Every character is clear and very consistent, Sam is very much in pic, Sahir's frustration is spot on, Rehman's dialogues are clap worthy, even Zaki's dialogues are intelligent. Only Arzoo's character shows a bit of weakness but its still identifiable because its clear she doesn't want to hamper the deal of Sahir.

Check the episodes from the 54th onwards and suddenly you will see a sea change in the way the characters deal with the situations. Except for Sahir no one has been consistent. The story has gone for a complete toss 😭

Yes pregnancy track was the one from where things went totally hay wire ... and haven't recovered still ... pregnancy track itself did not make sense because its odd for a girl to take someone else's pregnancy on herself no matter what may be the reason ... and after that it was just bad and bad

Oh so that's the reason the characters have changed so drastically. The feisty Aarzoo was turned into a bechari ,the fair Sahir turned into a manipulator and the cheerful Zaki turned into a creep and romance went out of the window :(

You are very right! There is a serious problem with story telling here and in that the CVs and writers have equal roles to play. What you say and how you say it both matter. I saw so many posts blaming Sahir's characterization. This is saddening because it was supposed to be unconventional from the very beginning - then why complain about that now? Wasn't it supposed to be a story about his healing - bringing him back on track and him healing the other lead too? He is the main draw of HS - whether you like it or not, that is the fact and everyone knows that. And many things have been accepted on television before with the right kind of story telling. If they had given a proper love story and the start of the redemption track and healing at the right time and in the right way, this show could have really worked wonders. The problem is they have been consistent only with Sahir, but only that - and nothing else Because of this, he kept on getting pushed into the dark (since he was meant to be a dark/gray hero) while the others never evolved to compensate for that or move the story ahead in the way it should have. I wish they change back to the original team...

No problem with the writer but yes direction is a mess and editing too in wedding track a big mess .
Changing writer will always affect the characterization of leads no wonder arzoo was messed up zaki was parrallel lead but no matter what saaz scenes always magical fight love perfect .
Hs lacks light moments eg:- no function no new year events or fashion events .
Hs only runs on one set niyamat house neither leads go out .
Story always gloomy dull .
Inspite of all these errors one thing stands tall sahir Azim choudary ( Hc has nailed it ) he is the main thing that attracts the audience rest all average actors .
Saaz are magical .
Hope they resolve these issues and bring in some entertaining elements trust me Hs will rock .

Yeah that was actually from where the downfall started of the show started. But if you notice Nads, they didn't stretch the preg issue, it was revealed very quickly that she is not preggers and that too by Samaira in front of everyone so that all misunderstandings got cleared in a go. The writer was very intelligent that way.

Uske baad they changed the writer and since then the tracks have just gone on and on, with no closures in sight. Its like they have no clue on what to do next. They wasted nearly 24 episodes doing that , thats nearly 5 weeks worth of showtime, which is too much for a show thats just 4 months old. Dunno why the Cvs are on a suicide mission.😕
