This post is just my pov again without watching any episodes this week.😆 I neither claim to understand any character in this serial nor condone or support any of their behavior. These are just my thoughts about Sahir without passing any judgement about right or wrong.
I feel at this point deal has taken a backseat. The burning question before Sahir is how to prevent Zaki from marrying Arzoo. He can't tell her again that he loves her genuinely because she will not believe it again. Case of fool me twice shame on me kind of situation for Arzoo. He can't tell Zaki not to marry her because he started this as a bet and now Zaki will not believe that Sahir is telling the truth. He knows Samaira is lying so Zaki will never get married to her knowing that she put a worse blame on Zaki just for the sake of marriage. Threatening Rehman will not prevent Zaki from relentlessly pursing Arzoo for marriage. Sahir has no way out here. How can he make sure that Arzoo remains his?He needs to stop Zaki somehow in his tracks. There is a saying that better ask for forgiveness than permission. Do you think Sahir does not know what he is doing? Of course he does. However at this point, he is not in the mode to ask for permission from anyone. That time has passed if ever it was there. In yesterday's incident,he has taken correct measure of Arzoo. In Sahir's mind, Arzoo is his savior, his salvation and a man parched for love will do anything to grab it with both his hands. He will not think ki log kya kahenge, should I do this at all? What about Zaki? Nada.NO. It is now or never for him. If he loses Arzoo now, he is condemned to his dark loneliness for life and for someone who got a taste of love/kindness/affection from this kind soul, he will do his damnest to make sure he acquires it back by hook or crook. Once she is his, he will devote his entire lifetime taking punishment from Arzoo. Woh use manzoor hai, Arzoo ko kisi bhi keemat per khona use beshaq manzoor nahin. Sahir feels he is in the desperate situation and to salvage it needs to take desparate measures. He is willing to get in bed with the devil (aka rehman + samaira) if that will force Zaki to stay away from Arzoo. In that state of mind, it is not Zaki his brother but another man a competitor for Arzoo's affections and devotions that he does not want any share in. He is an intensely jealous lover who will not share Arzoo's attentions with anyone. They must all be for him. Agar uska baas chale toh he will take Arzoo somewhere far away where no other man can dare dream to look at her forget trying to claim her.
I don't believe even Arzoo is aware of the intensity, depth with which this man loves her. Sahir's love for her is like burning fire and the only way she can cope with it is to jump right into it, get consumed by it. Its like her fate is sealed for good. Her heart is already branded before, now after Nikah it is her soul that would be his. Arzoo better give all she has and then some more. This man does not do anything in half measures, neither love nor hate.
