All i know is right or wrong, good or bad Sahir as a character makes sense in the context of his past and story ... arzoo doesn't ... she may have a heart of gold or whatever but her character doesn't make sense ... she talks big ... shown as strong ... but she is just impulsive, immature and weak! Who whines and all she thinks about is how she has been wronged! One of our strongest character traits is to be able to look inside us, to see where we are wrong ... and arzoo is so engulfed in her self pity state all the time that she never realizes that her expectations and actions could be wrong too!
Also i don't agree Sahir is totally ruthless ... yes when it comes to certain things he is ... but he won't bug you until you don't become a problem for him! He was caring towards his family, towards arzoo and her family ... he is only ruthless when it comes to his business ... because that is linked to his promise ,his past, the challenge that turned his life upside down!

There is one point that baffles me...Sahir is everything that Arzoo hates..manipulator...seducer etc...but isn't Zaki also all of that? Yes he has been good to Arzoo but in her presence and to her knowledge he has played with the feelings of other girls...one of them actually thought he was going to marry her and Arzoo saved him from the situation then! So it wasn't like the situation was always clear to the girls he played with!
So if Arzoo can treat him as her best friend to the point that he believes she loves him then where did her inability to trust men go in that case?
Sahir has been quite positive for her... She has seen his good side many times which is why she fell in love... She keeps claiming she did a lot for him but hasn't he been protective and caring towards her as well... Even before this part game part reality starts?

Sahir is called obsessed and unable to get over his promise... Isn't Arzoo also only thinking about herself most of the time? The rest is for Zaki!

Ah buddy u nake every god damn sense in the world n wht a fantastic post 👏

Lemme just bring in the aspect of sahir vs zaki

On The looks of it sahir is mich more crude, rude n even less receptive ...while zaki is the "every girl's dream boy " the sweet sugar coated n incorrigible flirt ...BUT if u see clearly under the guise of The image they portray zaki is the playboy who doesn't even treat the girl he has a fling with , with any respect n wants her to get out of his way 😲

While sahir is caring towards the one he is FAKING his love for too ...yes he has a plan up his sleeve but he is true to her n doesn't step a line even then ...

So all in all looks ate deceptive n we shud not judge a book by its cover n ...pain or not ARZOO Shud be sensible enough to see wht ticks with sahir n wht not when she claims she loves him ...

AlSo I am all for the BAD BOYS 😳

Pri that is a very good point and imo one of the main inconsistencies in her character portrayal.
All her thoughts on men and betrayal are forgotten with regards to Zaki.

So yeah hahaha.

I think i can safely read on lol.
So first of all let me tell you I love Jane Eyre and always cherished it. And honestly I think I was more able to connect with Edward Rochester's character. I think from what I saw Sahir is an
example of the Byronic hero, he like Rochester is a passionate man, often guided by his senses rather than by his rational mind.
wow . . . I feel like I have written a poetry.
(ignores you all rolling eyes at me)
Not rolling eyes. Agree. He is definitely a man led by his senses.
Where was I? Yeah ...

Sahir - He is the epitome of the archetype brooding, ruthless man with a past - which is surprisingly reasonable and dark - to back his behavior. In fact, honestly I didn't expect he was married and that too for the last 7 years (I thought 8 years was the norm . . . but oh well) no matter to a comatose ( evil with a gold digger heart...blah blah - still can't she is his living wife). It tells us a lot about his loyalty and true devotion to his wife Zeenat. I will restrain myself from calling her his first wife because he is only married to her.

He was a dream to me I mean I didn't like him in the beginning considering he is the reason Arzoo and her family lost their only income. (I still don't understand the whole brooding hero concept but whatever they are sexy).

Sahir is not evil but not too good too. He is going to be the troublemaker of her life and he is the only one who is going to be solving it. He has a wife who is in coma - alive. Now let us think about his past. He looked like any young husband who has fallen in love with his beautiful (insert gag) wife but apparently the only flashbacks we see are her taunting his abilities of being a true business. Unfortunately its true in business you are only successful if you are a practical and rational decision maker who doesn't consider emotions . . . just like the way I hear music while doing maths - it makes me feel ration . . . and . . . I don't know why I added this point.

Moving on...

I believe his imperfection is what draws us to him. Even though he has truly wronged Arzoo in many ways. When we hear the word 'hero,' certain images come to mind. We might see Superman swooping in to save Lois Lane but he is no superman. No he wears his chuddy inside his pants. I wonder what type. 😳😳😳. Not that I mind if he would wear it on top of his pants. I always drool anywhere anytime. Ha.😆

He is real, truly in the flesh. He is a guy who is insecure, who doesn't trust his emotions. He believes what he sees because reality is what serves before your eyes. Is he actually jealous, is he in love? I dunno really because I think even he loved an image of Arzoo, a perspective that he made out of her. I mean imagine 7 years of celibacy (maybe I dunno) and suddenly he falls in love with this kalki ay chori within a few months?

To him Arzoo was an innocent women whose life was marred with difficulties. Her father disowned her and its a pretty big thing to me. He has an image of her as a pure woman who is honest, hardworking and cannot stand injustice. A woman who doesn't love money and power but believes in talent and brilliancy. He loved her character of (let us face it she is a pure untouched virgin *rolls eyes* coz having sex before marriage is still a taboo and hence she is no sl*t *rolls eyes again*) And so when suddenly her image infront of her breaks into pieces thus it kills him as to why he believed that his "ideal" woman exists. He thought - how much of an idiot am I? Hasn't Zeenat taught me a lesson already? This is the real word and mataji woman like Arzoo hardly exist (Note: Sahir has not used the word mataji I did) (Another Note: Sorry I cannot be too good like her).
Nicely analysed Feminist 😊.
Sahir is everything Arzoo hates. He is a liar, a seducer, a manipulator, the satan of her (mine too) life and also the angel. More like the dark angel. And that is what makes me love his character. He is a wounded hero, according to Merriam-Webster, an anti-hero is 'a protagonist or notable figure who is conspicuously lacking in heroic qualities.' In other words, he is flawed. And that is what makes us love him.
Dark angel... what a lovely description for Sahir.
Yes we all can go on hating him, verbally abusing him but at the end of the day we all are hooked we want Arzoo to find out the truth about his intentions and I think we are going to be rewarded with a beautiful independent Lucknow vali Arzoo - hopefully.😉😉😉
Hmmm... let us see. I think with a few exceptions most viewers (someone calls them the TRP aunties) like the bloody abala nari act. The victim that makes the hero more heroic. I really hope they have the guts to make Arzoo consistent n courageous and a match for her Gabbar Choudhary.
What makes this story about their love beautiful is the hate. The reasons they can't be together, Zeenat, him being married, Arzoo (hopefully) won't marry him until he divorces Zeenat because it would totally kill Arzoo's character. I don't even understand why did they give her such a past considering it was supposed to make her strong yet all she does is whine and cry about how her father did this her father did that. Honestly Arzoo my dad used to beat my mom she hasn't left him yet I still live with him but I also don't consider him my father. But I am not whining am I? Self-pity won't help love. Self pity doesn't help. Ever. No in love. Not in life. And good for you to have the courage to call a spade a spade. Virtual hugs from me darling.
am sorry I got a little personal here but I don't see the justification to her. Really I think all the strong woman in us hates her development. The reason of her factory to be blown and her only source of income. Arzoo has A LOT of reasons to hate him and now the love ploy. Now the story is how she fights it and how and what he does to get to her.
It will be fun to see Sahir wooing her. And i really hope he doesn't become a Devdas. I. Hate. Devdas. LOSER.
And honestly I think the whole confession plot is a total paisa-vasool.😃😃😃
Totally agree. If i could whistle i would have. But as it was I was too busy drooling and being jealous.
I am sorry I got a little personal here but I don't see the justification to her. Really I think all the strong woman in us hates her development. 😭😭😭
Ummm i won't say i hate her development yet despite the silent act and the whole trust Zaki unquestioningly bit... there is still hope. And she does keep redeeming herself every once in a while... but i have to say the girl is thick skinned. Can't she see how much Sahir is into her! Or for that matter Zaki also.
In the pre cap she tells Sahir about Zaki showing her around mumbai - naivet or insensitivity? No wonder she choked!
Oh well I am sorry to say but I am loving evil manipulative Sahir. Enough of good guys let us see if Arzoo is smart enough to catch him.
Me too! LOVING SAHIR.
P.S: I think they shouldn't have revealed the secret of Zeenat and Sahir's relationship as married. Was too early and now they left it hanging. BTW I loved Arzoo's expression of ignorance when Sahir did the setup drama. Haha she was like 🥱 excuse me! 👏👏👏

AND I GOT A NEW PHONE!!!!😃😃😃

What did you name your phone? 😆

Hello Prettypri I was making a post just about Sahir and Arzoo so I didn't bother to bring out her stupidness as I always said I am unable to see the point of her loyalty towards Zaki I get it Zaki respects her and treats her nicely he is more lively and friendly honestly compared to Sahir. And I think she strongly trusts Zaki's word (don't ask me why I haven't found the answer myself) but we all Samaira is conspiring and forcing Zaki to marry her if we change the genders I think we would feel bad for the female Zaki right no matter if she had slept with the said male Sam.

I don't even want to know what they are trying to show all I know is that Arzoo makes me want to kill myself. SHE IS SO DENSE.

Hello Soaps honestly I don't care about morality here. He might have been good to her in the past but right now he is totally obsessed with his promise. Didn't you see the way he said about keeping promises to Satan and Humans hahahaha Right now Sahir is wrong and that is what keeps me glued and honestly I dont care how Arzoo finds out I just want to see if she is smart enough to catch. And honestly I love it hehehe😳

I never said Sahir was always bad I am saying is that he is a determined soul. He obviously hates playing with her feelings but the thirst for revenge and the obsession of Zeenat's promise killed the emotional Sahir for the moment. All he cares is to finish it and I am fully supporting him because Arzoo honestly sorry to say is actually a pathetic soul.

cry cry cry cry
hopefully she will get out of it and pick up the rest of her pieces of dignity broken.

There is something very attractive about the 'brooding' types who walk around with a permenant scowl and looking down on 99.9 % of the people they meet. When they hate, they hate but when they love, boy do they love. If Sahir was just 'nice' Sahir, we all certainly wouldn't love him as much and I bet you Aarzoo wouldn't either. She seems like the type to like bad boys 😆
I just love the fact he is mixing stuff up in the current track. He is confessing real feelings but also doing everything in his power to get Arzoo. He certainly didn't sacrifice his love as would be expected of a 'real' hero. And he is still laying games woth Zaki and Rehman. And in all of this nowhere has he mentioned the wife in a coma! The guy is so ruthless! I just love him!!

Great post again!

Hahaha we are cracked on the head lol I don't think we could really love him in reality hehehehe we need doctor 😳😳
