Where to start? Lets' do it with arzoo ... I totally agree with her telling Sahir its none of his business, she was absolutely right, what she does or doesn't do (outside of office) is none of his business! I am with her till there ... after that i loose her again! Why? Because she in one breath she tells him its' none of his business and in the very next she tells him she expected him to atleast understand her, asks him to read his eyes ... why arzoo? He does not have right over you but you have the right to expect from him? How and why is he obliged to understand you?
I have said it before I will say it again that Sahir is under no obligation what so ever to trust her ... they are not in any relationship and he has not even realized he loves her! I do also understand arzoo is in love and is frustrated with his behavior ... but that is not Sahir's fault is it? Sahir has kept his pain inside of him for 7 years, it has literally eaten him up ... if it was so easy for him to share it why would he let is consume him to begin with? Shouldn't she be a bit more understanding? She expects him to read her eyes but neither that day nor yesterday she tried to read the pain and hurt in his ... that is where i loose arzoo ... No i don't want her to be a girl who just obeys sahir or who keeps quiet when he is angry ... I am perfectly ok with her getting angry what i am not ok is her seeing everything from her POV ... never stopping to think once that other may have reasons too! Did arzoo ever share any personal thing of hers with Sahir? She didnt even tell him as much as her mother was sick as the reason of her absence from work ... whatever he came to know he did through others like Alvira telling about sarfraz etc. then why she expects him to open up to him?
People are saying Sahir was a hypocrite that he claimed to trust her but was still asking her to speak ... first of all Sahir has never claimed to trust her ... he has always proved it with his actions ... from anam stealing her designs to KA levelling allegations ... he has always proved his trust by action ... this time he saw them at the hospital ... then he saw her keep quiet and exchange looks with Zaki, yet he questioned himself ... not ready to believe, he asked her not because he believed what he saw but because he wanted that assurance, which goes with Sahir's background ... he has been cheated in life before he is vulnerable that way, yet he didn't give a judgement, he is still questioning in his mind only not ready to believe! ... if he had believed why would he ask? If we are ready to spare arzoo because she is in love why we r not ready to spare Sahir who is also in love even if he hasn't realized it yet? Arzoo is frustrated in love so she can say all these things, Sahir is also in love but him holding her hand and asking her is such a big deal? People are even using the F word for it?
Sahir hasn't realized his love and despite his background where he was cheated everyone expects him to trust arzoo ... arzoo has realized her love yet does she trust Sahir? If she did she would not hide this thing from him but go and tell him, trusting him to solve the problem!
Lets say she did it because she did not want zaki to get in trouble ... fair enough then if tomorrow this thing develops into an even bigger problem (with sumaira and rehman making their intentions clear) would arzoo then accept her responsibility in the mess or would she again sit and cry blaming everyone else but looking inside of what she did wrong? I mean this is not a small thing that she did and her heart may be in the right place but its' not like we don't make mistakes even when our heart is at right place ... so would she or would she even then blame Sahir?
Coming to Alvira am sure everyone is all praise to her because of her trust in arzoo, keeping aside the fact that whether it was trust or her desperation seeing her plan fail ... shouldn't she as a mother have talked to zaki first? I know she can't now because arzoo told her not to ... but shouldn't he be the first one she spoke to? She is her son and should have been questioned before her!
Zaki if he loved arzoo won't let her do this no matter what!!! Also Arzoo clearly told him that he is her friend ... he took it as her love ... at dinning table too earlier he saw love in her eyes ... so does it not validate what sahir was saying? Eyes can lie? Because when we r in love, we see in them what we want to see ... and Sahir probably saw her innocence ... but at the back of his mind the fact is very much their that he wants to see innocence hence he is seeing that ... and that is where comes the need to hear it! Hear it from her one time just a no! To reassure her eyes are not lying!
People say we have issues with arzoo getting angry because we r used to women staying quiet ... its' nothing like that I have no issues with arzoo making herself clear where she has to ... in being angry where she needs to ... my problem with her starts only when she sets different standards for herself and others ... when she only wants to see things from her POV, when she doesn't make an effort to understand the other or even if she does its either her way or the highway but expects others to understand her all the time no matter what. When she makes mistakes but never looks inside of her to realize and correct them!
For me arzoo is a flawed character with issues just like Sahir is ... why Sahir becomes easier to relate to is that his flaws are shown as flaws and among those he still does a lot of soul searching, always questioning his own judgement, realizing mistake and even making the effort to correct them ... arzoo's flaws on the other hand are portrayed as symbols of some kind of strength, she never does soul searching or thinks about her own mistakes and that is where I loose connect with her char.
I wonder if after rehman tells him that zaki and sumaira love each other, zaki would tell sahir he loves arzoo and sahir would think that arzoo kept quiet because she loves zaki? Because sahir does not think she is pregnant he knows she is hiding something and thats why the question sach kia hai ... he doesn't know she loves him so he may think she kept quiet for the sake of her love
One more thing alvira already knows she is not pregnant, arzoo expected sahir to understand looking in her eyes, she is not ... Then why keep quiet and not say no? She could say a no when alvira and sahir r the decision makers and both already know they r hiding something ... Then what sense her not denying pregnancy makes is beyond me! Because if sahir did read his eyes he would try and find the reason anyways ...
