Sushpective: Am I wrong for thinking out the box from where I stay?

Today's episode was definetly based on putting your Humsafar first. That is what both of the Humsafars did today. After losing such an important deal, Saahir is more focused on Arzoo's pain. The Saahir few months backed would have been fuming with anger but this Saahir was more concerned about Arzoo. Has Arzoo become more important to him than his promise to Zeenat? Is she more important to him than his goal and pride? Maybe not exactly yet but the lines have blurred. Instead of working on winning the contract back or perhaps replacing it with another deal he was working on keeping Arzoo safe from Sarfaraz. Even yesterday more than losing the contract he seemed to be more furious to the fact that Arzoo might have betrayed him. He seemed more at ease after learning from Alvira that Arzoo was innocent.

The way he spoke to Sarfaraz on the phone only a husband can tell a girl's own father to stay away from her with that much right and adamancy. He claimed she is his employee and a member of his home but who does that much for a mere employee? Who you kidding Mr. Saahir Azim Chaudhary? That showed significant growth in their relationship. They are no more formal acquaintances she is his responsibility oh wait her every tear is his and vice versa.

Same can be said for Arzoo, her worst enemy Sarfaraz had succeeded in degrading her at her work. Instead of getting even with him or proving her own innocence she was more concerned about the contract Saahir had lost. Is Saahir more important to her than protecting herself and standing up to Sarfaraz? Well we can at least say what she did was kill two birds with one stone. Getting the contact back was the greatest way to slap Sarfaraz and show him she wasn't going to let him win so easily and be concerned about Saahir at the same time. So I feel Saahir was the one to go above and beyond again.

You brought up another great point in your post. About how Arzoo differs from Zaki. Going back to the episode of "Creatives vs. Marketing" both Saahir and Arzoo take great pride in their work. A success earned through deceit in not a success well earned at all. Thus Arzoo was not satisfied earning the contract just by flattering Mr. Mehta. She was only content after she had told him the truth and promised an earnest effort by Saiyara to make up for the mistake made. That old Arzoo is still very much present but differs from Zaki and is similar to Saahir. Even though she has grown from a girl who placed her pride, her career and her family of women before everyone else to a girl who has learned to make room for someone else. She has learned actually through experience that not all the men are the same. Will her world come crashing down once she learns that Saahir is already commited to someone else? However evil the significant other might be infidelity and adultery are still infidelity and adultery unless a marriage is no longer void.

Myrah is one adorable little sister. Though she is definitely not as naive as she looks she is the only person in the house who has seemed to figure out what is going on between Saaz. She is certainly smarter than given creadit for. She understands Appi and her feelings so well. She did a great job making Arzoo aware of her growing feelings towards Saahir. I had always thought Zaki would be the person doing all these things. Playing cupid to earn his brother's happiness back but they went a whole another direction there. Let's hope he can see he is coming in between the real humsafars and doesn't turn into another negative character. We would lose another great positive character there.

Hi Shweta! I actually did watch last week weddays episode...when Arzoo got her makeover! Was quite nicely done! Seriously...if not for the direction...I wouldn't be watching this show...of course Harshad is a charmer...watching him for the first time...but he is really good!
