Nice post, Sush and a lovely collage as always, Shweta. Looking forward to you other posts, Sush.😃

In spite of a few things off, liked the episode.

Loved Sahir. He is a just man. I think he was in two minds about offering her the job when coming down the stairs. But eventually decided to go with it. For once, a ML explains his actions. A question though... did he specifically mention that Alvira was behind the decision. Or Arzoo took it as that.😕

Arzoo did realize that she was a bit too impulsive. As for the song, khottapan te khud kitta si.

Did not like the way Arzoo gloated at the end. Linda chided her that Saahir would not like her coming late. Arzoo's response sounded more like gloating than anything else.

Alvira touched a new low. The woman can go any lengths to win.

As for the rest, creative liberty I guess. All set for the 'lost in jungle' track now. They could not take a drive along... kabab mein haddi. 😛

Na Sahir never said Alvira was behind the decision ... he explained to her clearly he had decided it when he came to know those were her designs

I am really excited! I relate to Arzoo's emotions like I related with Khushi's once upon a time...her growing up with sisters...wanting to make something of herself...her pride...her confidence in her work...everything! Yes...she is sillier than me...but I have done things that I am not proud of...when I was 21...and I was the most logical and generally considered a brilliant person ( sorry for being immodest...not trying to toot my horn...just making a point) at the time...

The fact is that human beings are irrational...more so when they are young...the dramatization is injected...but the emotions are real...

Hey...Indra...are you still up? Wanted to say...I couldn't believe that they chose one of my favorite songs, from one of my favorite movies,...sung by my most favorite singer!!! What more can you ask for? No wonder I am ecstatic today...😃

Why did she thank Alvira, then. Am I missing something? Or maybe she thought it was Alvira who got Saahir to hire her.

To be honest Sahir is the most decent Gul Khan hero till date. I really think that 4 Lions is maturing in the way they depict their heroes.

Though Sahir typifies the dark and brooding AYM, it is to his credit that he didn't manhandle Aarzoo after all the spiel she spouted in the resignation letter. That was completely childish and nonsensical on her part, but I get it.😳 I for one found her impulsiveness very endearing. How many times have all of us secretly thought of nasty things that we would like to say to our detractors? We imagine giving them lengthy diatribes and triumphing by getting one up on them. That Aarzoo acted on this impulse is what makes her...Aarzoo, IMO😃

And believe me when I say this, she is much more sensible and ambitious than any of her predecessors. There seems to be a real fire in her to succeed, which I particularly like.😊 Even Sahir recognizes this, which is probably why he chose to retain her in spite of the considerable insult she mounted on him through her letter. Though he remained seemingly rational and businesslike about the whole thing- giving her a contract stipulating her to work exclusively for Saiyaara for 3 years(!) and then stopping her from thanking him- it was very clear that he is affected emotionally by her. His pausing to look over her huddled, miserable figure by the outhouse very clearly showed that.

And yesterday's episode showed a definite progression in their dynamic- Aarzoo acknowledged to Alvira that Sahir is a good man, and that his strict demeanor belies a kind heart. And I love how he has taken up the mantle of a mentor for her😳

As for Alvira- I found it fascinating that she could go to such lengths to have Aarzoo and Sahir take a trip together. Though I am strictly against mothers-in-law plotting and scheming against their bahus, for once I will let this slide. Anam and Kurti Apa can't be dealt with in a strait-laced way. They resort to all sorts of dirty tricks to get their way. So Alvira in return played another dirty trick to get her way. Both sides are being insidious and subtle with their game playing. Me likey:)

We really need more Arzoo-Zaki and Sahir-Zaki scenes, along with more SaAz scenes, of course😉 Zaki is like a whiff of fresh air in this show. He gives us a break from the godawful boring melodrama that is Aarzoo's family and the endless scheming of Anam and Kurti Apa. (Like Alvira though, because there is this air of mystery that surrounds her motives). And did you notice the appreciating glance that Zaki gave to Aarzoo when she was leaving? It seems that he is falling more and more for her! Sahir beta, jaldii! Warna chidiya ko koi aur uda le jayega!

Waiting eagerly for the Panchgani track to start tomorrow. The show has improved by leaps and bounds and is finally proceeding the way I envisioned it to. Lovin' it!

She thanked Alvira for bringing her to Mumbai and being a harbinger of her progress, in a way. She was probably elated after her promotion and wanted to share it with the person who initiated her journey, considering how close she had come to ending it with her own hands😉

But more importantly, she seemed thankful to Sahir. She openly declared that he is a kind man underneath that rough exterior, and that he taught her a valuable lesson😊 That's a progression!

If she will not respect herself she shouldn't expect anyone else to respect her either! And no I am not saying drivers are not respectable but its just not arzoo's job!!!

They could simply show them leaving with a driver and in half way driver got some emergency call from home and had to leave or anything more believable than this!

Arzoo crying and thinking about her dreams did nothing and the song in bg was absurd, simply because she is the one who wrote that stupid letter ... if it was for her self respect why did she cry then? She should be proud of her action! And even when sahir gave her the letter she did not once think what she had said to sahir after which challenge thing came in!

I know you like arzoo, i tried my best to like her too ... even till yesterday I was ready to excuse her behaviour thinking they want to show her character grow while retaining her fun loving nature ... but i guess i was wrong. Yes arzoo is truthful but u need more than that to make a career and so far she hasn't taken even one step after getting the internship ... as for made to odd jobs intern are made to go through hell mostly ... sending to pick samples is not that odd in comparison ... and even if she was made to do odd jobs that reflects badly one other chars still does not justify arzoo's wrongs!

And I feel next is Sahir's turn ... after messing arzoo they will now go after Sahir (and no am not talking about sahir being good or bad but about him being in character) Like how will he agree for arzoo to be his driver? Even if he is affected by her it makes no sense

Alvira for me was cheap yesterday, she may be playing cupid or whatever but playing with someone's looks is pathetic ... I wonder if anam would even be plotting and scheming and stealing designs to look good if Alvira had not backed down on her promise of making her VP!

I felt bad for anam yesterday and not a little bit for arzoo because again arzoo came out as ungrateful (yes i know she did admit making mistakes but that was all levelled in the next scene itself) ... if viewers feel this way writers need to realize they r doing something wrong some where and need to be a bit more careful in how they play with characters

I am dreading the jungle sequence because seeing what they have done in past I see more butchering of chars coming up

Call me tough call me pessimist call me bias but this is how the show makes me feel ... every time i like something about arzoo the very next moment they show something that is totally unreal. For me Arzoo could still be her cute self without doing the non sense they make her do

Soap ...I think nothing I can say will change your opinion...so I won't try...

It happens...sometimes one doesn't connect or the show doesn't connect...has happened with me...in the past...sometimes right in the beginning some times after watching it for a while...for me specially if the FL character doesn't connect...I can't sustain my interest and end up quitting the show....

I hope you find things you enjoy...here or anywhere that holds your interests...

@amri I completely agree with you. I seem to like and relate to Arzoo a lot more than her predecessors. I know she is just as if not more immature than them but I rather see an immature girl with a fire inside her than an immature girl who sits and takes abuse like man handling and what not. I dont mean to offend any of the fans from previous shows. I too like them. But Arzoo is a much more realistic and modern FL than norm of the sacrifical lamb we see on tv!
