Sush I love your post and Shweta's collages! but the recent episodes are just meh. I wanted Arzoo to prove her talent but in a drama free and professional way but I guess that is just too much to ask from a daily soap. The Saaz scenes are done in a haste while the kitchen drama is elongated towards no ends. I agree with many others about the Saaz scene it was done in a jet speed. They could have at least shown saaz recollect towards the last time it happened. And wonder why this keeps happening to them. Is destiny trying to tell them something? The way it was done left a lot more to be desired. It seems they want to hurry up and make Arzoo prove her innocence so the majority of the episode was dedicated to that. They did there best to redeem Zara too and for me they managed to some extent. Hope the rest of the week goes better.

Zara pleasantly surprised me - I was prepared not to like her. Nausheen usually gets on my nerves with her rona-dhona victime hood but - you're right her ownership of her weakness came across genuine and with grace

No kidding - Sahir's eyes kept seeking her out he's a gonner.

Now the Cups - first I thought ok cute but nothing too special. Then I noticed the Pink and Red lotus flowers on the cup - knowing 4Lions, bound to be some symbolism. I failed poetry so normally I wouldn't notice symbolism if it hit me over the head with a two-by-four.

Anyway I looked up the meaning of Lotus flowers on this link https://www.lotusflowermeaning.net/. Some meanings:

• Egyptians associate it with rebirth
• Egyptians used it as a symbol for the unification of the two Egyptian kingdoms, that is to say the bonding of upper and lower Egypt.
• In Buddhism the lotus is known to be associated with purity, spiritual awakening and faithfulness.
  
• Pink lotus flower: this is the supreme lotus and is considered to be the true lotus of Buddha.
  
• Red lotus is related to the heart and is associated with that of love and compassion.
• Hinduism - As a lotus is able to emerge from murky/muddy waters un-spoilt and pure it is considered to represent a wise and spiritually enlightened quality in a person;
• Hinduism associates the lotus with beauty, fertility, prosperity, spirituality, and eternity.

So, symbolism for humsafars - my thoughts:

• Rebirth of Zahir to a pure love from his painful dark past
  
• Awakening of Arzoo to love to womanhood
  
• Despite Anam slinging mud at her, Arzoo will emerge un-tarnished, beautiful and pure the next day
• joiningg of two kingdoms - Sahir (upper class) & Arzoo (lower class)
• Sahir and Arzoo will be faithful to each other.
  
• Fertility, prosperity, spirituality, and eternity - Sahir and Arzoo nikaah on the way?
• Rebirth for Sahir from his painful and murky past

p.s. if Kurti-Appa didn't have the comical cliched getup and ridiculous walk, the actress is able to portray her as a real person in the interactions with Alvira and the one with Anam today.

I don't know where to start from but seriously can't take anymore Anam scenes now the person playing Anam can't act one bit

Also very less of SAaz scenes but it was a good scene with Sahir eyes watching Aarzoo and his calling her in to remind her of the time limits was the saving grace of last night episode for me I tell you just the way he stares at her made me have goosebumps what will I do when they will do romance 😳
Alright lets not get carried away as before that looks like il have to get to see loads of kitchen drama 🥱

Also I'm sure they can edit out the family scenes didn't have to drag too much and show more of Sahir scenes please Cvs I'm losing patience now 😭

The coffee / tea scene total wasted ,poorly written ...This show seems to have many wasted scenes ( Dargh , Pool ) The show stopper was Anam / Sahir scene .The sister's have set a trap for Anam ...she won't know what hit her . Hope Zaki is at the breakfast table for the showdown .
