F32 : An Insight Into The Man Called Harshad Chopda

We have been asked a lot of times ever since the show started for pictures of Harshad Chopda. Of course, Gorky has been giving you all a treat with numerous pictures that are simply mind blowing and the black and white shots have been breathtaking.

Harshad Chopda is a friend whom we had a nodding acquaintance when he was working on another show. And really met him properly on the set of Humsafars. On an outdoor location before the set really commenced, we struck up a bond over a cup of coffee and conversation huddled under an umbrella as rain played hide and seek with our shoot.

Open, down to earth and man with lot of depth, Harshad, Shivya and myself have become friends who hang out together in between shoots. Of course, added to this trio is Sehbaan Azim and the director of the show Aniruddha Rajderkar. Whether it is sharing food on the set or ordering food from outside, we all have fun together.

Harshad does not speak much when you first know him or rather, he believes he cannot express much, but we have found our own way of communicating. He is one with whom one can talk on three topics at any length and depth and they are fitness, food and filming. He is relentless in his efforts to be fit and likes the people around him to follow some code of fitness. The director, the DoP and I have joined gym along with him will perhaps gain the benefit of exercising with a guy who is so dedicated to work out.

We often talk about what is the love of our life. What gives us a high like no other and for him, it is definitely a good work out.

Watching him work on the set is another treat, be it with his co-star who are new of seasoned actors like Vibha Chibber, he gives his 100%. That is his commitment. Another aspect is that he is very punctual. Be it coming to the set or being on the set once the shot is called for.

This is of course, just the beginning of a journey for us at Humsafars, we shall bring more about him as we get to know him better.
