I seriously love dargah scenes too, so much. and this? this entire post is exactly what I was thinking about the scene but written so much more eloquently than I had managed to type out (on another forum). (some of which I am posting below, paraphrased and edited so it doesn't flow very well. I basically edited out the swearing because I was writing it while watching the episodes and flailing. I really, really, really love dargah scenes.

these two are connected so intimately without knowing it. their fates, their souls are tied together. (the peace on Sahir's face at entering the dargah. the hope but wariness on Arzoo's face as she thinks about her humsafar. she wants to believe but she also has seen her parents relationship fall apart and who knows what was in Sahir's past that has made him so closed off to everyone but his mother and his younger brother and they both have so much pride and pain in their lives, so many walls to break down and overcome to make their ways to one another, but there is already a connection from the first moment they have been super aware of one another and unable to walk away without casting a look back.)

and then the fact that she inadvertently paid for his rose, for his offering to god for his peace of mind. and then also one thing I really liked was that she's in (mostly) white, but he's in black - but when she's talking to the baba, she's bathed in shadows and he's in light and it's just very fascinating.

and then in the next episode, them walking together but always apart, with the wall between them, just missing one another. and his growing peace in the dargah, but her growing bechaini because of the baba's words.

Love your take especially the interpretation of arzoo taking care of Sahir's dil-ka-sukoon though unknowingly. A very in-depth and beautiful writing. Would love your take on why arzoo was chosen of the two to know the fore-telling while Sahir remains clueless of all this. And also Sahir taking the flowers with him and not offering them in the dargah, does it say something?

The scene was beautiful.. The song was lovely.. The entire sequence was poignant and spoke of two people made for each other!
And your post does full justice to it.. So beautifully written!
Very nice interpretation of Sahir and Arzoos characteristics...

Agree that it's indeed going to be exciting to see their journey towards each other!

You brought up very good points! It might be that Arzoo was told first because of essentially who she is. She's a positive person and she hasn't been jaded by love itself, just relationships and marriage. Arzoo took the fore-telling with a grain of salt, as much as she'd like to believe in love that transcends everything, she has also seen marriages fall apart. Sahir on the other hand refuses to believe in love again, he's been so deeply hurt that any mention of the word humsafar has him rolling his eyes. I guess Arzoo would be more willing to believe than Sahir, but I think Sahir will feel it before she does. Time and time again we have the girl fall first and her patience turning the boy around, but how about having our jaded hero fall first, have him overcome his own demons and then convince our terrified heroine that though love is beautiful, relationships are hard work but only that much easier with your humsafar. Sahir not offering the flowers felt to me like it was his own way of doing something petty, he obviously has a very troubled relationship with his beliefs, probably stemming from his mystery, and it seemed to me that had he offered the flower it would have felt false. Instead he will hold onto it until he is ready to face his demons and meet his beliefs again!

tbh i was never to into dargah sequences but the way HS did, i totally love it, it was given a good amount of time to play out, nicely shot and the songs and tunes used were perfect and executed in the right moments. the place looks magical especially when sahir saw the entry, it looked like a pathway to another world. your deff right amoub purity and reassurance, its a very soothing sequence.

couldnt agree with you more on sahir, his emotionally restrained by choice, its definitely to protect himself from putting him self at risk and unpredictability that could hurt him, so before anything could his puts a stop before it actually happens. he has a tough outer exterior but also a softness as well about innocence. is quite the silent type and a bit of an introvert. of course he still has the angry man side but his way different, he doesnt come as a bully or abusive etc you get the point. there is so many facets to him and its wonderful seeing that in front of ours ep by ep. since he has all these facets and isnt just restrained as only an angry young man, just that specific trait we get to see lots of stuff from him and its not out of character. i just love him and HC for portraying him.

totally on point on arzoo, i love her as well, she has a maturity and freshness about her but she is flawed as well like you said. totally opposite to sahir. she also has innocence but alot of pain as well and trust issues on men. im excited to see how she grows through the serial. i dont know what else to say about her, she is bold and end up telling the truth, she says sorry and realizes her mistake and isnt stubborn when she does make a mistake, she accepts it and makes no big deal in apologizing. shivya does an awesome job and you said everything needed about arzoo.

i love the whole bound by pain and thats the main thing they share. tragically beautiful. the next thing written from here i absolutely love, you have such a good understanding and way with words. this is very beautiful👏.

" Perhaps Sahir's wounds are deeper than Arzoo's, and perhaps we will take longer to heal, but Arzoo's prejudices are long and heavy, and her mistrust of men runs even deeper. How does a thorned flower bloom for the dark? When the dark carries the moon in its hold, and the flower has been aching for the slightest bit of light. Sahir will bleed his way to her bloom, his emotions will bleed out from his cold heart because that's what Arzoo does, she is desire and she is what will force him to feel. "

i cant wait to see how it plays out , both have painful baggage and how they both help each other will be interesting to see.

OMG Im blushing so hard thank you so much! 😳

Arzoo is stubborn but not about her ego when it comes ot her job, in fact she has repeatedly thanked Sahir and apologized, every time for giving her an opportunity or for her messing something up! When it comes to her job she is extremely humble, although that's sometimes lost when she just abruptly leaves.

And what I love about Sahir is that he isn't a bully! He's rude and he's angry, but he isn't malicious and he doesn't hold grudges against our FL. So refreshing to see really!
