Great post.
Loved Dadi-Sarfaraz dressing down ! And more of the same from daughter Arzoo 👍🏼 under watchful eyes of the boss 😆
Zaki is adorable so far ! His tone has respect and cheekiness with regards to Arzoo😊

Aarzoo's younger sister is definitely some one who will spoil everything...totally not looking forward to her in the story...

Definitely marriage can wait...in fact I hope the love and feelings itself develop slowly...this phase is always interesting !
Arzoos sister...totally agree with you...she seems to be an opportunist!

@ Shweta: love the quotes. It puts Aarzoo in perspective. But I hate to see her invite trouble.

Anam is ambitious not evil (yet) but if Aarzoo keeps rubbing her the wrong way, i see her becoming a caricature villian which i hate to see on tv. Even villians are interesting when they have layers to their character. Anam so far is all and only about ambition. They need to flesh her out so she is not so annoying. There has to be a reason Sahir finds her reliable and trusts her so much.

Nausheen had an ignorable scene when MIL left and she said to herself that the she could never forget Sarfaraaz. It might have been her feeling of dependency at having to rent out his house due to financial problems that she hangs on to him so dearly even after knowing what an ass he is. But in that scene for some reason she seemed a bit mysterious that something else is going through her head.

BTW when I first saw the promo of Humsfars with Aarzoo refusing to take her father's name, it reminded me of the Paki show Zindagi gulzaar hai. The FL there too is in a similar family situation and at the end the father is left without any option but to ask his daughters for help. Sarfaraaz will be seen in the same situation where he will beg in front of Aarzoo one day that she recognizes him as her father. Other than that tho..no similarities to ZGH.

I see an MU in the making JC...Aarzoo...threw her phone at Sahir because she couldn't take him insulting her father...There is no way, Sahir will guess that she is not looking out for her father...I think he will misunderstand her on this point...while he will like her on so many others...hence the conflict...

I see so few soaps to any significant lengths that similarity in the story is not an issue...😆 But Aarzoo seems to be different from Kashaf on many aspects based on a couple of episodes I have seen on ZGH...

In fact that scene where Arzoo reacted so strongly when Sahir referred to her father may have been there just to set the basis for an MU!
And it would be surprising if Sahir were to let tbe matter rest as he did not believe Arzoos explanation!
He found out sarfaraz was cheating and gave him a second chance after much grovelling! Why would he not dig further and find out how Arzoo knows him! Unless it's one of those things that shouldn't be done to move the story😆

Apt title, Sush. Shweta, the new header looks great. Loved the quotes. 😊

I agree with most here that it was not right of Arzoo to leave the office and task midway. The confrontation with Sahir not withstanding, there needs to a bit of responsibility towards the work assigned. Let's just consider it a desi show creative liberty. 😛

That said, I am loving Arzoo here. For once, she is not picture perfect... has her flaws, does take wrong decisions, and is not out to correct all the ills of the world. A teeny tiny thing, When Sahir does approach her, she does not move backwards like bitiya did. Sticks her ground.

Sahir is more of a no nonsense guy than a short-tempered bully. Has his prejudices, but does not resort to phical violence. Gul is finally breaking away from the mould.

Loved the confrontation scene towards the end, both with the father-daughter and the leads. There is definitely a ground for MU there. Sarfarz is not going to mend his ways, and Arzoo would be held guilty by association. It would not help much even if she would finally reveal he is her father.

And... it is finally good to see some movement on the board. 😊The show picked up fairly well this week.

Ha ha...I guess I am very eager to give them that creative liberty...😃 Sahir is not a hot headed guy who reacts by manhandling...He is more of of focus on your work and don't give me the nonsense...kind of guy...that's indeed refreshing...!!

I think the board is still relatively slow...but this week has been the best so far...
Shwetas quotes were indeed awesome! Are you back Shwetzee?

Hi Avekallu, Hmmm...I don't think Sahir sent that water bottle to Aarzoo when she was upset...I think the entire office saw how Aarzoo was being scolded by the boss...since his office is fully transparent...Linda was just being nice...but when she got a glare from the boss she didn't pursue either...meaning right now...the attitude is total Khadoos...we will have to wait before any softening will come...it probably will get worse before it gets better...me thinks...😃

Just watched all the episodes in one go along with my sisters...we had to freeze the screen on every shirtless scene to appreaciate male beauty in its true form.
What I love is that SaAz are true soul mates, they hurt at the same time, they both have to be strong for family, everybody relies on them to exist almost.

Arzoo is the best FL lead I have come across. She is loving, protective, modern yet conservative. I love the fact that she drives!!!! she has a core of steel, she is like a lioness when someone in her pride is attacked she goes in for the kill... I can't wait for her to start developing feeling for Sahir this will be totally confusing for her.

Sahir is the iceman...totally alone even though surrounded by wealth and family. I loved the small glimpses of vulnerability when he is by himself or when he thought his mother had forgotten his eidiee. Outwardly he has a loving family but he holds himself aloof from them.

So far I have loved all the episodes as the background was a great build up to the current story...even it felt like years before SaAz truely met apart from the plane ride (my favourite interaction of SaAz so far).

I doubt that, Sush. Wet hair effect. The other pool pics have the hair intact. He does look better here, though. Wouldn't mind this look on the show 😊.
