Many people say that every tv show is a copy/mix of other shows. I would have agreed with this a few years back. i.e before 4 lions came up with their first show.
A pregnant heroine who had every reason to shun love and every man on earth was ready to fall in love again...that was originality for me...
A small town girl who was screamed at/yelled at by her entire family and neighbours for ruining her sister's wedding...she decides to commit suicide..well..that was expected...
She shocks me by making jalebis...that was sheer brilliance for me...definitely original...
Heena was a muslim show on tv many years back...so i was expecting something on those lines when Gul started her muslim show...I was completely wrong...The heroine has the darkest past...her burnt hands...her photographs which were the only clues to her father...life had been very harsh to her...so i expected a calm, composed and mature girl...but we were pleasantly surprised to find a pizza lover who talks nineteen to a dozen and does funny shaayri...
The heroes just got darker...they didn't hesitate to let the heroine fall from the window...or not hug someone who was in a vulnerable state after a spate of bad luck...
Yes..every show took something from the previous one...but not without adding something new...
This is coming from someone who has watched all the shows that have been dished out over the years...
Then why do i feel that this show lacks originality?? Why am i not able to connect to either Sahir/Aarzoo...
Why has nothing new been added to this show...
I m sure the PH has no dearth of ideas...their history speaks for itself...then why??
And yes shivya is a newcomer...she is improving...but why should anyone wait till the show picks up...and Shivya imrpoves??
Shouldn't the first few episodes be the most impactful ones??
P.S throwing a phone at somebody's head is not path breaking or proving a point...its immature and stupid
