TOI: I am quite positive about doing negative role

Delhi-based TV actor Manish Goel will soon be seen in the role of a 'super villain' in a maha movie of the show 'Hum Ne Li Hai... Shapath', along with actress Pallavi Dutta. It will feature all the previous super villains of the show likeAhem Sharma and Vaishnavi Dhanraj.

According to Manish, "After the success ofShapath, the producers thought of a maha movie, which will be a two-hour film on TV. I will be playing the super villain, and my character is a little psychotic but entertaining."

Ask him why he's done very few TV shows in the last eight years, and Manish says, "As an actor, I have always looked for a challenging role. This is not a comeback for me. Audiences have not seen me on TV like this before. Even though I am doing a negative role, I am quite positive about it. It's been exciting and challenging so far. Because of my role, I am also working on my physique."
