I hate Ammaji as she is biased, manipulative and selfish.

Just because she is unhappy with the choice of her first son, she wants to bring a girl of her choice for Bunty, without even talking it over with him. She is thinking only about her old age and not her son's happiness. I find her manipulative and she plays mind games, like in the pre-cap, to thwart Sagarika after seeing their eye-lock in the water, she tells her that she is getting Bunty married to Satya and he too loves her very much.

What do you think gals?

It's true that ammaji is very biased but not bad at heart ...she is actually very much attached to Bunty...it sometime happens with typical mothers who believe that their children will do whatever mothers would choose especially in selection of spouses..if such things don't happen they can black mail or resort to several tricks up their sleeves which I presume it would happen in this series.😃

I think she is a typical Indian mom, who dotes on her son, to the exclusion of all else. And thinks she knows best what is best for her son.

My MIL's sister always says something, which I find so true and funny too - that most Indian moms are like hens, who scoop their own kids under their wings and then squat on them. All the accessories, that is, the daughters in law and sons in law, are left on the outside - intruders, and so not important. 😃

So, most of us daughters in laws are murgi ke ande (chicken's eggs) 😆

Vibha ...Mothers are normally too possesive regarding their sons ! And always in the illusion that they are the decission makers ...because they are the praiseworthy creators ...later by force , because of circumstances , have to accept the facts !
But they love to see their kids always be happy !

Though she is manipulative and selfish to quite an extent, but we all know that she would fail in her mission of getting Bunty married to Satya. That is the beauty of daily soaps or cinema for that matter. No matter what, things are always hunky dory in the end. Wish it happened in real life too.

I do not like her as well , can not understand why she never spoke with Bunty, about his wishes.
Thanks God, Bunty knows whom he love, so I am sure he'll find a way to marry the right girl.😃
