HDHAA is not just any entertainment show,nowadays it's showcasing a real and very serious issue.

Like Avi an Adi there r so many gals and boys who reject ppl b'coz they think they r not their dream men/dream gals or they r not goodlooking,smart,etc.
One of my cousins is a very good person,she is so kind and helpful but she is not getting a groom b'coz she is not beautiful and smart.Sometimes i wonder is beauty and smartness everything in life?Why don't ppl see good nature of human beings?Why do they feel that if a boy is handsome or if a gal is beautiful then only i will marry him/her?Why do they ignore da good qualities of individuals?
We r in 21st century yet we find ppl giving more importance 2 beauty,looks.
If i am wrong then plz correct me but i seriously feel this is also a biggest problem ppl face.

I just hope this show attempts 2 solve this problem.

Looks do matter, and intellegince even more!

As a career oriented girl, I would like a guy who is equally educated and someone with whom I can have intellectual as well romantic conversations. He should be able to stand up for himself and me.

I'm pretty sure most girls would rather marry an Adi type of guy than Tappu. No matter how good a person is from the heart, there are other things to consider. I wouldn't marry a man whose father insults him all the time, I'm pretty much stressed on self-respect. If he can't stand up for himself how will he stand up for me?

I'm a lioness who needs a real man to be tamed. Most of the girls are like that. And it is very difficult to fall for a guy like Tappu.

I might sound like a bi*** but I'm not. I'm a girl of this time. I wont be living in the past where you marry disregard of your liking.

I agree with you but at one time everybody go fo looks i am no saying avantika is right at her place but at somepoints she is right...

i dnt think looks matr bt yes,having self confidence does..a prsn mite b shy and quiet,also stand up for urself..it is not necessary to fight or humiliate other people bt atleast not take crap frm others..so in this context avantika is not wrong..

hmm looks do matter, but if a person doesnt have looks, he / she should be able to balance it off with a charming personality.

dont get me wrong kindness and helpfulness is really wonderful quality but when getting into arrange marriage that quality doesnt shine out at first look. in these cases they tend to judge a book by its cover.

@WildFire:- Thanks!!! And when I will get married I'll do as much research as I can about the guy!! I stand up for everyone I care about (my parents, sister, friends, GPs, cousins) and if the person I love doesn't do that for me that means he doesn't care!
