Also rooting for TV is Sonal Sehgal, who is doing a lead role in a forthcoming film, but believes that it was her Kingston Hotel success that catapulted her into the big league. Sonal intends to stay put in TV even while doing films. "I know that TV will get me meaty roles while films will be just for a lark. Of course, TV schedules are gruelling but if I do one serial at a time, it leaves me ample time to pursue other mediums," says Sonal.
