The character was just whiny brat. The actor looks creepy to me.

Yeah because of the character. Thor is too Vanilla for most fan girls while Loki had layered personality and also daddy issues so women automatically go for bad boy. Marvel fanbois on the other hand have a boner for Thor ( because he is the strongest)

To an extent yes. Recently in the Falcon show Sebastian Stan stole the limelight because of his looks and women lusting for him when Anthony Mackie is a much better actor than him.

He's a very cool villain to be Frank, only one from MCU that can challenge The Joker in charisma.

Loki has always been a popular villain/characters and this was the case way before Hiddleston was cast in MCU(true comic fans would agree). He is the God of mischief so the character has a lot of interesting arcs and charm coz that is basically a defining trait of Loki. Thor in the comics is this noble warrior God, who's arrogant but more coz of over confidence and not immaturity. In turn Loki was the jealous younger sibling making him more relatable. Even then comic Loki is not more popular than Thor. But he has always had his own following

MCU in turn decided to butcher Thor's character completely and made him this serious spoilt brat in the first two movies. He was supposed to be serious but not the dumb brat MCU made him. Loki's character more or less remained the same and thus people loving Loki.

Also, Hiddleston is considered better looking than Hemsworth? The things I read on this forum 😆

Simply because MCU Loki is a sympathetic villain, a white boi with a Tragic Backstory™ plus a charming personality and most ladies are willing to white-wash the character and woobify him.

Also comic Loki is genderfluid and bi and has a lot more depth (agent of asgard amongst other pieces) which gets attributed to MCU Loki even though such representation doesn't exist on the big screens which adds to his popularity.

Not sure about looks but man his charm is deadly
