DUNKIRK is an upcoming British epic action-thriller film written, co-produced and directed by Christopher Nolan. Screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan

Christopher Nolan has given masterpieces like Memento, Insomnia, The Prestige, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception and Interstellar

The story is set in World War II during the Dunkirk evacuation.
Allied soldiers from Belgium, Britain, Canada and France are surrounded by the German army and evacuated during a fierce battle in World War II. It saved the lives of over 330,000 British and Allied soldiers. Dunkirk focuses on the evacuation of the French City Dunkirk in May of 1940, following the Nazi invasion of France in the early stages of the war.

As per Director's wish plot details are being kept top secret.

The large-scale production will be shot on a combination of IMAX 65mm and 65mm large format film for maximum image quality and high impact immersion.

DUNKIRK will hit theatres July 21, 2017.

I must say, as much as I admire watching Nolan movies, Dunkirk is nothing but an average movie which is pretty overrated.
