Meh.

What I do appreciate, however, is that she's not trying to 'doll up' and rather keep her original skin tone with minimal makeup.

OP, please post pictures and interviews of Aarti Punjabi, Padma Lakshmi and Mindy Kaling too. As someone who follows Frieda, you should be well-versed in matters of discrimination...and there should certainly be none of that among celebs of Indian origin that are working abroad here in Bollywood forum if you're going to persist.
