Thanks for sharing Armu and Nikhila! :D
Finally, Rati spoke up to calm, to some extent, everyone's concerns regarding this greatly overblown issue. I love how she is so honest, considerate and straight to the point in her answers. She handled this in a very thoughtful and careful manner, avoiding making statements that could unintentionally be interpreted wrongly. Hats off to her for that. 👏Though, not being contradictory, I must say I am not entirely satisfied with her answer about Anas. There is still some confusion in my head regarding their connection. She did not clear it completely. 😕 Anas indeed seems to be a good friend of Rati's. I hope their healthy friendship does not get affected by all the recent media coverage. Only time will tell what is really going on.
EDIT: The following paragraph is not meant to offend anyone in any way (Saumya, not you either). This is just my two cents. Read or ignore, it is up to you and honestly, I do not care. :)
Nikhila, well said. 👏 👏 You do not need to come up with justifications of Rati's down-to-earth qualities. People who genuinely care about Rati are already well aware of her strengths and flaws. On the other hand, we have some people who will never understand anyway, because they like to look beyond what is being said and what is being written and what is there right in front of their eyes. The thing is, people have problems with Rati either way and they are not ready to admit it anyhow, which is really sad. To me it seems that they just cannot accept her goodness and honesty. According to those people's twisted logic, Rati is to be pointed out as the culprit even when such rumours spread in real life and she is trying her best to clear all confusion once and for all, just like Indira is to be blamed for every bad thing that happens to Rishi and Besharmas in the show. Before this article came out people were saying things such as why is she keeping quiet for so long, she should speak about this, there is definitely something cooking between them, blah blah, and now the same people are questioning Rati again just because she told the truth (which they did not want to hear, maybe?). What do they really want? Long live double standards, I say! Is not it quite hilarious to see how people are talking about misinterpretation of things when they are actually making the same mistake themselves in their comments?

Well well, ignorance is a bliss I guess. 😆 I am no one to dictate anyone's behaviour or way of thinking, just like no one has the right to dictate mine, still my humble advice to Anas and people who find pleasure in showing their ignorance through misinterpretation is: better to practice silence than preaching BS. 😉
