My question for all three of you. Its for anyone reading this, actually.

I agree that her switch on-switch off hitlerpana was a bit abrupt. For us as viewers, we can perhaps dismiss it as one of the HD plot clunks.

But putting all references to HD aside, when a person is regaining memory, how does it work? Do these patients return to the same spot, the same instant in life that they had left so abruptly a while ago? Or is it gradual? Or are different cases different?

A tangential reference to HD: Enough has been said about how Indira was meek as Husna and how the original, underlying traits of a person cannot (should not?) change. Is it really as unnatural? Because schizophrenics are totally different people when suffering from an attack. We know that the brain, though extremely resilient, is wired such that it can handle completely opposing information and instructions. So, really, how does it work?

I needed the tangential reference to HD to make a point. But would appreciate general responses. Thanks.

Edit: I know that entire books can be written about this, so these might sound like stupid questions, but if someone can get me off to a correct start, I'd like to read up on this too.

@sumitbigfan (sorry, don't know your name)...thanks a lot for the compliment. Means a lot 😊

My question for all three of you. Its for anyone reading this, actually. I am glad I was not excluded .

Regaining memory is very gradual process. Only in movies we see instant memory gain. Most of them struggle with this for long time. Lots of pschychologal issues . Some times people only rembember few people in their life same spots or places have no significant affect. But incidences associated with the place has huge impact . Many times people have vague memory about places not clear memory .This Works for some and not for others depends on person and kind of trauma .Many times persons Motor memory comes back with homes and places (. eg. Husna was able to find kitchen )after that they start to connect with the place and intellectual memory plays part in restoring memory. Different strokes for different folks. this is the answer for your underline questions . Never the same formula for every ones for or during memory restoration !

A tangential reference to HD: Enough has been said about how Indira was meek as Husna and how the original, underlying traits of a person cannot (should not?) change. Even with permanent memory loss , person's original personality does not change. We keep genetic gift through out our life . So Indira's Hitlergiri should be part of Husna's behavior . I would have love to see her slapping KC or her arguing with Noor.. This is the reason I was not connected to the PAK connection or Husna . . Is it really as unnatural? Because schizophrenics are totally different people when suffering from an attack. We know that the brain, though extremely resilient, is wired such that it can handle completely opposing information and instructions. So, really, how does it work?

When person is schizophrenic it's pschychatic issue and problem. brain works diffidently and reposes to chemical and psychological changes. They do have multiple personalities as coping mechanism . They change personality for their needs. That's the only way they can cope or not cope with reality . It's extremely case of defense mechanism . They keep themselves isolated .

I had big objection to Charecter Husna . She was not schizophrenic. We did see her in jail with severe depression but later she was portrait as mentally challenged . Her mental status was confusing to me. Some times she understood every thing and other time she was very childish . We saw her with personality chage with Kabir . WHY? She is Indira then why she had this dual personality this has no logical explanation.

Now some of you have objection for for Indira showing her hitlergiri with Rishi . I thought I was well done by CV . ( Kanan , as you said I have different take on HD for reason ) If Indira was mushy with Rishi and hugging him or kissing her lost love that would have been strange to me .Out of charecter . Her genetic nature her hitlergiri has to come before any thing but these are my POVs. Now they need to be consistant with her behavior and not change her original personality . I want to see character growth and do not want to see slaps and Chapels . She is 9 yrs older and in her thirties .

.

I needed the tangential reference to HD to make a point. But would appreciate general responses. Thanks.

Edit: I know that entire books can be written about this, I think i already wrote book on this so these might sound like stupid questions, but if someone can get me off to a correct start, I'd like to read up on this too.
