I know they wanted to show Indira back in the cliched HItler avatar but it was a bit premature and was not the right time or place. I mean this was the first time she was meeting Rishi in her full senses after 8 years!!! The hitlergiri, and being conscious of who's around, to me, looked completely contrived. Anyway, this is HD and nothing more can be expected. Bas shukar karo ek at least ek episode ke kuch pallo ke liye hi chahe, koi 3rd angle nahi tha 😆

Actually, that luggage bag was falling somewhere & Rishi was standing some other place, why did Indira came there?? How come the flowers suddenly fall on them?? These things made me laugh.

But any way, we will forgive all the bloopers for Inshi. Loved the precap. The hug was simply perfect.

Kanan,a very good analysis of yesterday's episode. It indeed was an episode with a bit of everything, anger, pain, desperation, longing and love;and all these aspects of human nature was beautifully executed by the CVs of "HD".But these emotions felt so real, because actors Rati and Sumit put live into them with their phenomenal performance👏👏👏👏.

Now coming to the points, which you have put,I would like to say that, the good part of the episode was Rishi's outburst of anger and helplessness, which not only showed that,Rishi is not overshadowed by his ego;he's not embarrassed to say that he had lost;that his love for Indira is pure and selfless. And the most dramatic,or we should rather call it a "filmy",part was both Indira and Rishi falling and flowers showered over them.(it would have been more interesting if the song,"Baharoin Phool Barsawoin Mera Mehboob Aayaa Hain..."was played in the background😉

The bad part of the episode:Well, here I would totally agree with you that, the idea of family videos being played in a public place, was overdone.I think the CVs,in this scene, were trying to do something like, which I've seen in a number of Hollywood movies,i.e.,the hero goes in a railway station and he starts singing a song, and suddenly the crowd follows;and as the song ends, everyone goes their way(I'm actually not being able to remember the exact word for it,but I hope you will understand)But here, the whole impulse was missing. And the wedding party in the railway station, reminding Indira of her true love, was "out of this Universe" idea.I think here Illa Bedi was sending a message to us all that, you'll wanted to see Indira and Rishi together,so take this!(this part,I enjoyed to see Rati and Sumit in a wedding dress as they were looking ravishing;but I did not like the underlying message the CVs were giving us.I mean it looked to me as though the scene was forcefully added;and I think the same was done in one of the earlier tracks, where Rishi and Indira were shown to have married secretly, and getting intimate with each other. This I don't consider as a good writing;its rather an unthoughtful piece of writing, written just to meet the demands of the audience).I believe that we could have connected with the story more if Rishi was shown to have played the recording in his mobile, which had Kabir's truth;this would have cleared Indira's misconception that she is married to this stranger. And instead of the marriage party in the railway station, helping bring Indira's memory of Rishi's role in her life(which was only a visual pleasure) ,it would have been more connecting to the story if Indira was shown to have accepted the situation, which rather proved that she had a life here before those eight years in Lahore;and there was a connection between her and the entire family of "SN",who had been behaving so strange lately, especially Indu.It could have been shown that,Indira leaves with Rishi and Indu to find out the other half of her story, and in this process of recollecting her memory, she relives all the moments spent between her and Rishi, with Rishi being her support and Indu, being the guide. This would have been the way to the next track, where we would have got our Inshi back, together, but with more romantic tension growing between them.
(I hope I didn't bore you with my view)

Shwetha, I also felt the same... There was a haste in showing Indira totally remembering her hitler giri was absurd...they could have shown her a little more shocked and stunned with a pinch of emotion saying to Rishi ...'do you know how much I missed you'...

A lot depended on how the epi was executed and barring a few things, they pretty much nailed it. A lot needs to be said for both Rati and Sumit. They made it more watchable.

The Good:

Rishi's frustration and disappointment. Many may think this needs to go into 'The Bad' category. But this was good. His words bespoke his pain. And his pain was a manifestation of his inherent love for her. When he said things like "We've done all we could and its of no use" he was not intending to hurt her. He was convincing himself that he has done all he could and now, because nothing more can be done, he has to let her go. And he lets her go with a promise. To never show her his face. Never to inflict more pain on her in an attempt to keep her close to him.

The Bad:

Don't know which should get listed here first. Should it be the scenes of a family video comprising family moments playing on a RAILWAY STATION?? Could there be a more public place to show off one's personal life??

The videos themselves were of moments that were never really recorded. Some moments were memories...like the confession in the hospital. And the beginning was with Chotu Ishaan's voice that was actually part of a promo! Piece of BAD thinking there.

Or should these points be preceded by a very willing station attendant (don't know what to call the video aunty) who belongs to CC and feels the dire social need to see Hitler Didi back in action? Because India, Delhi, and CC (in that order) need Hitler Didi.

Or should it be the wedding party on the railway platform? Am having trouble deciding whether this is unreal or just plain bad. Putting it here all the same.

The Indifferent:

Kabir belongs here. He walks off leaving his 'begum' standing there without even saying bye and with tears in his eyes. Babli follows him without a single question. Its okay that he deviated from HD tradition and did not become a psychopath. But his exit makes no difference.

The Superb:

The tacky scene of some random luggage hurtling randomly towards Rishi goes in the category of superb. Even more tacky and 'ow' was the flowers falling on both of them. But you know what? For the sheer joy of knowing that normalcy will be restored in this agony track, three cheers for this scene.

Rishi, in typical heroine style, falls and Indira is holding his head. Here, for a minute, I thought he would hurt his medulla oblongata and wake up to say "main kahan hoon"...thus starting the Rishi ka ML track. But thankfully, only some random flowers fell in cosmic approval.

Even more superb: Indu silently slipping into this private scene.😊 And better than this was Rishi covering her eyes.

And of course, the return of Indira Sharma. In full element! The precap seems like fun. She meets her daughter who is throwing Hitler back at her. No guesses for next week. As far as Fridays go, this one was paisa vasool.

Just one word... Excellent, superb.. Out of the world explanation...your writing is superlative.

The last part was superb mostly because I can't believe that it happened. Though the HD viewer in me wants to wait till Monday/Tuesday (the faint hearted should stop reading this comment here 😆) and make sure that it wasn't someone's dream- you never know with HD. 😆

I do have to disagree with one part of your analysis...Kabir walking away without being turned into a psychopath...are you sure about that? I feel like they pretty much turned him into a psychopath when we found out that he had been "keeping" this woman with ML in his house under false pretenses for however many years...I would say his psychopana got redeemed a bit today.

@bold: Yup...cheating a woman with no memory of her past and convincing her that she is his wife is psychopana, which they closed in a decent manner with his walking away and leaving her with her husband.

But I was thinking of the traditional HD template for a a psychopath when I wrote that. Sameer used to blabber. He committed rape, installed spy cameras, and basically turned weird when he could not get Indira. Zara tied up and locked Indira away in some dungeon. She committed murder and was shown as obsessed and unhinged when she could not get Rishi.

Now, Kabir, so far, has not been shown doing these things -- despite not getting his Husna. That's a major departure from the norm. Can't say...someday he may choose to return with a knife in hand and no memory of any other aspect of his life except the Lahore song! But till then, we're safe. 😊

This is another of those tracks that does not have proper closure. This chap just walks away. Indira will perhaps never know about her eight years in Lahore or about her never having been married to Kabir or about the recording in Rishi's phone because she'll return to worrying about the water bill. These incomplete tracks are really bothersome. I hope she shows some curiosity about the lost years.

PS I must write that you got the first honor of my post!! Making up for last few weeks !! Yup, true this 😃

Another thing . I wish that they stop leaking out the show information , this really spoils for me. I wish barn episode and railroad episode should have been secret , I think I would have enjoyed even more. I love surprises!!

@red: Excellent! 👏 For one, I hope the CVs read this and get some ideas on how a story should progress. Second, whether they do it or not, I hope you are planning to develop some sort of short story based on this 😃
