@Heema: Regarding Husna not having feelings for Indu because she has not carried her for the full term, the same could be said for Babli also. We don't know the entire back story but we know that Husna has not given birth to her. So clearly, its a case of familiarity and bonding. Obviously, she feels closer to Babli because she has brought her up. Indu is practically a stranger to her. But still, she did feel concern towards Indu. And the concern was genuine.

Kanan. I told Saumya to read this post . I am educating her to medical lingo . But I decided not to use big word otherwise someone might call me a NERD. And I am not , I am exactly opposite ! Now this my explanation. Indira has short long term memory, and in that memory she she store Babali and Sahib . That's why she remembers babali. Sahib calls her Begam so she thinks she is step mother to Babali . So she is motherly to her. She also raised her and cared for her .

On the other hand Rishi and Indu and SN is in her Long long term memory. This is vanished after she heard Husna song !! she did not carry Indu to full term or gave her birth to recognized her touch or existsnce. That's why I Think she has no attachment to Indu other wise that fall would have been perfect for snapping her synopsis !

So I my eyes, Husna has no biological or emotional connection to Indu . But she has emotional connection with Babali. Yes she is Indira's daughter and she carries her Genes and she is biological daughter of Indira but she needs to be Indira frist for that connection !!

Have any of you had the experience of being around patients with dementia or their family members? I have and the Rishi-Husna interaction reminds me of these patients and their caregivers/families. Try putting yourself in the shoes of the family or the cargiver! You spend countless hours and all your energy in caring for these patients and what do you get in return? They don't remember who you are and if that's not enough, they push you away and may even be aggressive/violent towards you. Obviously the patient is blameless because their behavior is a manifestation of their illness. But how can the caregiver/family member not be expected to have some frustration and anger? Yes it may not be rational, but it is complely natural and understandable. The anger is not meant to be a commentary on the patient's behavior, it is just a expression of the caregiver/family member's frustration. If we look at it that way, we'll be able to understand what Rishi said in this situation.

Dia sorry it took me sooo long to reply you. You were on my mind all the times but I was distracted on the forum with very mind challenging posts so this boring and unimportant post took back seat!!
I am so glad to read some one on the forum has experience with dementia and memory loss people !! Care givers pain is very serious issue ! they suffer more than pt . That's the reason I volunteer and run support group for families in nedd but in long run it help me with pt. Family often express their frustration and anger . They have problem with coping and do not undertstand , how to react to patients, and what to say to them . Many carry tremendous amount of guilt and ruin thier own lives in procress. Every one supports patient beacuse they deserve sympothy but no one thinks about poor love ones who are suffering even more.
Now back to Rishi. This man is really good father. He really cares about his " Pyar ki Nishini " yes he wants his Shrimatiji Back but before that he wants mother for his daughter. So out of frustration he says something that is not perfect to many but for me it was perfect expression of this frustrations . Nothing wrong with it . He cannot talk to Husna , he isnot telling Kabir for fear of loosing Indira. Kabir is trained Army Major. . When her comes to know that his Husna is indeed Indira and Rushi's wife . He might smuggle her out for own interest and this the reason he is not telling Kabir any thing and he is using his Jugaduoan to get Indira back !!

Kanan and Nikhila last underline sentence is reply to your question .
