Remember in the asylum those guys said that she shouldn't be treated with shock therapy because she has tumour. I took that to mean that she has a history of BTBut then let it be, you are right that where there is HD there are bloopers and no logic..Yes these things should be discounted...maybe the cremation fire cured the BT ROFLNo worries, she's back in SN and with the sharmas now.. give it few more years and the BT will be back ROFL

Very good questions, and very well put forward Walden.I will try to answer your questions from my point of view, keeping rationality in it.Well, to start with your first question,I will say that,if I were Rishi,I would have been frightened to face this bitter reality, where my love and soul-mate,who I have denied to belief all along that she's dead, and finally convinced my heart to admit that she's gone, suddenly comes back and stands in front of me when I've finally decided to move on in life, and that too with a person with whom I've fallen in love all over again.I would have been in a dilemma as was Rishi, and cut in two halves as was he.And yes,I would have been there for Indira in this crucial moment of life, where she has lost her memory, mental balance;because people, who run away from the difficult situations of life are cowards. And in this respect I think Rishi is a brave person to stand and face it:this reality that Indira has come back, and he has someone else in his life now.
To your second question, my answer will be that,Indira calling her family "zimmedari" sounded alright for us,because she never got love from them, despite the fact that she has loved them and taken care of them even when she has been neglected by them.Whereas,Rishi calling Indira his "zimmedari",did sound bad, because Indira has loved him back as he has loved her.And lets just say that, all our relationships are a kind of responsibility, but when it is called so,it sounds harsh. So,I think Rishi calling Indira his "zimmedari" wasn't a blunder, but little insincere towards his love.

And lastly, whether Shweta was a replacement or not, like many have said Zara to be a replacement for Indira:To this I would say that,Shweta was indeed a replacement for Indira, even when Indira knew that no one can replace her in Rishi's life. But Zara, well, she's not a replacement, because no one forced her to come into Rishi's life, and neither was Rishi forced to accept her.Yes,during the initial days when Rishi came met Zara,he believed her to be his Indira[and he cannot be blamed for that as the CVs have gave every possible hint that Zara is Indira;be it her attitude, her gestures, even her selection of food, and most importantly Zara's unexplained concern for Indu, her response to the name "hitler'';or that be both Rishi and Zara's strange feeling when their fingers met,];he was indeed convinced that his "shrimatijee" has come back. But he realized it eventually[or lets say the CVs compelled him to realize]that Zara is a different person altogether, and he had to make up his mind, which he did and accepted that,he has fallen in love again, this time with Zara, and decided to move on.So he married Zara not as a replacement for Indira, but as the second person in his life after Indira, who have made him feel alive again.[I hope I have answered your questions, distancing myself from a Inshi fan,or a Zashi fan.]

I don't think Rishi was in a dilemna. I don't think he was confused. For someone who has, just as you said, been faced with such absrud circumstances, Rishi actually showed much clarity of thought. in that moment. He said to Zara that I love you and am still committed to you, but I cannot leave helpless Indira at the hands of the Sharmas who will mistreat her. I think Rishi has been very clear that he wants to move on with Zara. and cut in two halves as was he.And yes,I would have been there for Indira in this crucial moment of life, where she has lost her memory, mental balance;because people, who run away from the difficult situations of life are cowards. And in this respect I think Rishi is a brave person to stand and face it:this reality that Indira has come back, and he has someone else in his life now.
To your second question, my answer will be that,Indira calling her family "zimmedari" sounded alright for us,because she never got love from them, despite the fact that she has loved them and taken care of them even when she has been neglected by them. I can understand that but what about Indira's love for them? People claim that she had unconditional love for her family, so why would she refer to her unconditional love as zimmedari? Whereas,Rishi calling Indira his "zimmedari",did sound bad, because Indira has loved him back as he has loved her. And lets just say that, all our relationships are a kind of responsibility, but when it is called so,it sounds harsh. So,I think Rishi calling Indira his "zimmedari" wasn't a blunder, but little insincere towards his love.So in that instance, when Zara asked him "who am I to you and who is she", what do you think he should have said to Zara? I canno think of a better word than zimmedari. I think in that context, this phrasing was perfect and conveyed the importance, yet different places, of both women in his life. At the end of the day though, actions speak louder than words for me...anyone can make declarations about love...Rishi has proven his care and concern for Indira by standing by her in this situation. So why still the fixation with this one single word and ignore all the instances where Rishi has shown his care towards LW?

And lastly, whether Shweta was a replacement or not, like many have said Zara to be a replacement for Indira:To this I would say that,Shweta was indeed a replacement for Indira, even when Indira knew that no one can replace her in Rishi's life. But Zara, well, she's not a replacement, because no one forced her to come into Rishi's life, and neither was Risthat hi forced to accept her.Yes,during the initial days when Rishi came met Zara,he believed her to be his Indira[and he cannot be blamed for that as the CVs have gave every possible hint that Zara is Indira ;be it her attitude, her gestures, even her selection of food, and most importantly Zara's unexplained concern for Indu, her response to the name "hitler'';or that be both Rishi and Zara's strange feeling when their fingers met,];he was indeed convinced that his "shrimatijee" has come back. But he realized it eventually[or lets say the CVs compelled him to realize]that Zara is a different person altogether, and he had to make up his mind, which he did and accepted that,he has fallen in love again, this time with Zara, and decided to move on.So he married Zara not as a replacement for Indira, but as the second person in his life after Indira, who have made him feel alive again.Yes absolutely agree with this. He accepted her for who she was. Yes she was similar to Indira, but how does that make Rishi's love for her fake? I'm sure we all have certain personality traits that we are attracted towards- so what is so wrong with falling in love a second time with someone who is similar to your 1st love. It is so natural and makes perfect sense to me. It also makes perfect sense to me that he could not fall in love with Shweta because she was not the kind of person that he found attractive (not physically, but as a person). We can't control who we are attracted towards! I hope I have answered your questions, distancing myself from a Inshi fan,or a Zashi fan.] Yes you have 😊 Thank you.

This exercise has been useful. I think I understand some things better. I think some are of the view that Rishi never really loved Zara or at least never loved her for who she was. I'd like to respond to both of these:

1) He never really loved Zara: Why do people feel this way? If its because of #2, then I'll answer that in #2. I agree that the Zashi relationship was not as strong as it could have been but strength and unwavering trust in relationships comes with time. The Zashi relationship was never given this chance because of Indira's entry into their lives. Yes relationships have to be tested for them to strenghten but Zashi were very unlucky because their first test was the biggest and most challenging test of all. I don't think their relationship got a fair shot because of this unfair challenge which was presented to them too early in their relationship. I don't see how this translates to Rishi never loved Zara? The other problem people may have is the rapidity with which things happened. If that is the case, then why do people think Zara's love was pure and deep. After all she fell in love with a complete stranger in a matter of a week!! Why are people so sure that Zara loved Rishi in the most sincere way and it wasn't just an obsession or infatuation from her side? If your problem is with the rapidity of events and falling in love, then you have to question both Rishi and Zara's love, not just Rishi's.

2) He never loved her for who she was: I strongly disagree with this. I agree that he initially was attracted to her because she reminded him of Indira but as things progressed, it was clearly shown that he had accepted Zara for Zara! Yes he fell in love with someone a second time. Yes this second person was very similar to his 1st wife...why is that a problem? Aren't we all attracted (physically and personality wise) to certain types of people? Does this mean we are just trying to "replace" people in our lives? NO...it means that we all are (knowingly or unknowingly) attracted to certain physical traits an personality traits in other people. That's all. Its almost like people would want Rishi to fall in love with someone who is completely opposite to Indira for them not to consider his second wife a replacement? But if he falls in love with someone who is at all similar to Indira, then he is just trying to replace her? This is the most unnatural thing I've ever heard!

I asked these questions in Pari's thread earlier today but there were no takers 😭 so I figured I'd try my luck in the general forum. Please don't disappoint me again 😭 I genuinely would like to know what people think about these queries!

1) Lets assume for a second that Zara did not look like Indira. Lets play out what happened in the show. Zara and Rishi are newly married and return to SN and find that Indira is back (in her mentally handicapped state). When Zara asks Rishi "who is she and who am I to you," what do you think Rishi should have said to Zara...if you can give me the exact words, that would help! Since Rishi did say that he wanted to be with Zara, should he have walked out with her leaving Indira at the hands of the Sharmas? If you were Rishi, what would you have said and done from this point forward? The more specific that you can be, the easier it will be for me to understand your viewpoint
Keeping myself at Rishi's place if this happened, I would have said Zara you are my love and Indira is my responsibility. I will never be able to pay off her debt. Since Indira is mentally challenged and no one out of SF is ready to take care of hers, so i wont be able to leave Indira in the hands of those butchers who are only after money.

about the word Zimmedari a person who can not take care of themselves are referred as Zimmedari like SF were zimmedari for Indira, though love of Indira for her family was never any less yet she called them zimmedari!!! No love stories are like Romeo and Juliet nowadays exist, we all must live a practical life, sometimes it sounds great listening big words but in real no one can follow those great sayings!! We all assume ideal situations but when it comes on ourselves; we realize how difficult is to stand on those words which we were telling for other, So before questiong Rishi for his word zimmedari and accepting zara, why cant we question ourselves that if we were at his place??? Life will be better if everyone starts thinking what i would have done if this has happened to us!!

2) Prior to the leap, Indira used to refer to her family as her zimmedari ALL the time (I can give specific examples if people want but I'm quite certain that everyone remembers this clearly). Did Indira not love her family? Why is it okay for Indira to call her family zimmedari and a blunder for Rishi to refer to Indira as his zimmedari?

Zimmedari just means a responsibility!! as i said earlier a person who can not take care of himself is definately zimmedari. As SF was for Indira, but love for them was not less ever. Its called Gender Discrimination or other category discriminations 😆 When the same word was used by Indira it was all greatness and if Rishi used that he was tagged with bad names.
Ye Andha Kanoon

3) People claim that Zara was just a replacement for Rishi. My question is: when Indira decided to blackmail Rishi into marrying Shweta, what was Shweta supposed to be? Didn't Indira also just want a replacement for herself so that Rishi would have someone there to perform all the wifey duties for him, romance him, give him kids etc. She clearly knew that Rishi didn't love Shweta. So if Zara is a replacement, what was Shweta? (Again, I'm not saying that Indira's intentions were bad so you don't have to waste time convincing me of her good intentions)
Shweta was also a replacement D, and if would have accepted her, there would have been lots of enjoyment on forum, but since he never accepted her, he was attacked!! and as he accepted Zara who was a look alike of Indira dats only the fault of rishi :P has zara been played by different actress no one would have bothered about his love for hers.
sorry if it went off topic but some questions are clear when seen from the neutral eyes keeping our feelings for a particular character aside!!
Let's set some ground rules to keep the discussion healthy
1) If you could restrict your discussion to just these 3 questions and play along with the assumptions i've made,, that would be great! To keep the discussion focused, I rather not debate the "legality" or "morality" of the Zashi relationship and like I always say, lets keep the kids (i.e Indu) out of it- she gets a free pass again (but thats okay I bash her enough as is) 😆 I also am going to assume for this discussion that Zara is not a humshakal of Indira. Now if you feel that your basic grievance has to do precisely with the morality of the Zashi relationship and Zara being a humshakal, then please say so and you don't have to answer these questions.
2) Saying things like "Rishi is a womanizer, he wants the best of both worlds, he is lustful" does not help me understand your viewpoint. So a thoughful response would be much appreciated.

Honestly, I don't know what I would have done, but I have to applaud Rishi for having such clarity of thought even in such absurd circumstances. But I agree that what he did and said was completely appropriate. I can't think of another word that Rishi could have used...should he have said to Zara...hey she's my 1st love, my soulmate?
@underlined: D i am just like 🤣 reading that; Its less even if he have had said that he would have been bashed, he must have said She is My current wife 🤣 now you are my past zara ji 🤣
on a serious note he said what all a sensible person would have said!!! If either of above he have, had said then i wouldnt have minded tagging him as selfish person, but he did what was apt for the circumstances!!!

No love stories are like Romeo and Juliet nowadays exist I don't think they have ever existed in real life but I guess thats what people expect to see onscreen- something completely unrealistic and made up like...if you love person X, then you can have no emotion or cocnern for person Y
See walden, Our statements can never change the thinking of anyone; because everyone is preoccupied wit concept of Love happening for once, but its only life which can make them learn, such thoughs arise because either people didnt see world yet or dont want to see!!
after all someone said; its upon us if we see glass half empty or half full

, we all must live a practical life, sometimes it sounds great listening big words but in real no one can follow those great sayings!! I think in Rishi's case, it has been even better. He has let his actions speak louder than his words and thats what matters the most!
Yes but actions can be felt only by the one for whom it is being done, as for now its Indira who can feel what rishi did for her; the third person can never understand it, words are seen by others but only indira can only feel the warmth of what he did for her.

Yes absoultely...thats why I posed this question..put me in Rishi's shoes and tell me what you would have done. But not many people want to tell me 😭
aww D dont cry 😭 here healthy debates are overlooked always!!

Zimmedari just means a responsibility!! as i said earlier a person who can not take care of himself is definately zimmedari. As SF was for Indira, but love for them was not less ever. Very true. Asli sach!!! But I don't understand why people have a problem with Rishi falling for someone who is similar to Indira...isin't this the most natural thing for a person to do?
its all about role played by SV falling for role played by RP!! here lies the absolute problem

sorry if it went off topic but some questions are clear when seen from the neutral eyes keeping our feelings for a particular character aside!! You stayed right on topic 😊 Thanks for your comments
🤗 Your Topics are really interesting D!! its always fun answering your posts!! i have to use brains for it over heart 😃
