I could make out only a couple of things: Rishi slaps Zara. I don't know what all of you guys thought about it, but I thought it was an overreaction. He did not hear her out. If his first dhadkan said that she was Zara, then could his second dhadkan not have informed him that she was worried and tense? I also did not like the way he snatched her mobile phone from her either when Vanraj called with news of Indira. Its fine that she's guilty for the moment and has made a mistake -- what he thinks is a mistake. But she is trying to make amends and if he cannot help her, let him at least not make her tougher for her. I want her to walk away and leave him with his Shrimatiji. Let her find herself and find some solace in her work instead of being stuck in Sharma Nivas.
Whoever has a different rationale for Rishi's behaviour today, please share it.
Edit: I am not bashing Rishi and I am really looking for other viewpoints. Please keep responses in perspective. Thanks.
In the meantime, at the New Year party, the Commissioner uncle who Munna is in love with (if he can love the Commissioner, then Vanraj was not bad...ROFL), is bent on sending the bunch of intruders back to the mental hospital. This brings Inder to his senses and he begs the Commissioner to be kind. We know that this is a genuinely sad scene because the background music was sad. Otherwise, nowadays, it near impossible to distinguish a serious scene from a comic one. Especially scenes that have Inder in them.
Cut to Sharma Nivas where Seher is wishing Kutumb a Happy New Year while Indu and 'Lahorewali' watch. Did not realize how, why, where, when, and who brought Indu home. Was it the 'Lahorewali'?? She knows to settle hospital bills and sign discharge papers?? Then surely she can take a bath and comb her hair and do more than clapping. No one in SN wondered about this? Not even our darling Indu? Forgot...she is too busy chanting the Mummy chalisa.
Precap has Indu screeching again. Why Rishi cannot answer her and shut her up once and for all, we will never know. This is one question that really bugs me: WHY do they pander to her all the time? Fine, she is an only child and the only surviving nishaani of the one and only Indira Sharma. But that's all the more reason that she needs to turn out fine. If this kid version is the prototype to go by, I don't want to take a chance imagining what she'll be like when she's grown up!
PS: The background score in the hospital scene (at the opening of the epi) was good. They played a guitar version of "aahatein" which was nice. Soothing.
