First of all, I have to mention my favourite scene which was undoubtedly the last part where Lahorewali wanted to eat something (samosa), but in the end she was left hungry. Her hungry look while sitting outside SN in the dark is still in my head. Her teary eyes were filled with sadness and pleading for help. Sadly no one came. Her hands got burnt in the pursuit of food and still no one came there to take care of her. And then the famous song "Zindagi Jung Hain" started playing in the background, to make it even more heart-wrenching. It was a really painful moment for Lahorewali and me (as a viewer) as well. This scene nearly made me cry, and I am not crying while watching TV usually. Rati did an exceptionally well job in this particular scene! This role of a mentally challenged will be treasured forever in my heart.
Coming to the entry of Lahorewali in SN, I must admit it was both funny and painful. To be honest the series of slaps was a bit funny and silly, but I think each and every SN member except Ishaan and Seher deserved it. Unfortunately the slaps had no effect on them. I loved Lahorewali's innocent expression after realizing she had slapped Besharma family members unknowingly. The "Khalbali"music reminded me of the golden days when the empire of Indira used to be at its peak. What followed after this was pure torture. I have never seen or heard of a family who misbehaves so badly with their own daughter (?), and that too for the sake of money! It is a shame that no one was able to recognize her even though a little kid like Indu recognized her at first instant. And the less said about Kutumbh the better. This woman has really no idea about motherhood. She did not once think about how and where this poor lady will go this late at night; she just heartlessly threw her out on the street. It is also sad that Besharma family members are back to their old nonsense. 8 years have passed and I thought they would have learnt their lesson by now, but I was wrong. Their rude behaviour towards Lahorewali was nothing less of a horrific tragedy. I hope no daughter in the world has to go through the suffering which Lahorewali (Indira?) went through yesterday.
The background music gave me greater hope that Lahorewali is the one and only Indira Sharma. Also in the precap Lahorewali says "Rishi" on the phone, which means that she still has not forgotten Rishi. I am still not sure whether she is our well-renowned Hitler didi or not, but more and more things are pointing this way. However, I still want Zara to be Indira as I have never imagined our Indira will be in this painful state of mind. I want to see how Lahorewali reacts upon seeing Rishi when he returns from Mumbai. This will clear a lot of confusion hopefully.
The Zashi scene was a bit surprising though, for me at least. I expected Zara to be more questioning towards Rishi, but she was the one who took the initiative. Her smile and naughtiness felt out of place in my opinion. Also Rishi looked mildly irritated by her unnatural behaviour. Nevertheless, Rati's smile is one in a million and it is always welcome. She instantly reminded me of Nupur's bubbly and naughty character.
In my opinion the precap looked both shocking and promising. The shocking news is Zara and Rishi getting court married in Mumbai. I did not expect this to happen so soon, at least not before Rishi would see Lahorewali in SN. Why are they in such a hurry? Now Zashi will most likely be a married couple and we can expect more melodrama. As for the good part of the precap, Lahorewali is able to utter a single word ("Rishi"). I think the voice sounds familiar to Rishi. I just cannot wait to listen to her sweet and innocent voice.
All in all, I think yesterday's episode was watchable mainly because of Rati's brilliant acting as Lahorewali. I think she looks very cute with short hair and unkept hair. Her expressions changed every second and kept me glued to the screen. It was difficult for me to keep track of her numerous expressions, but the screenshots speak for themselves. I felt that she did not overplay her role, her every movement and expression looked so natural and realistic. Perfectionists do not do things halfway; they pull it off with majestic grace. Rati handles both roles well at the same time, and I hope she will continue to do that. There are really no words to describe her talent and versatility. She is a superb actress in every aspect!
As far as the upcoming track is concerned, I think both Rishi and Indu will support Lahorewali. This will be a lot easier task for Rishi if he is not married to Zara, because then he can easily patch up with Indu. If he returns married Indu will lose the remaining faith that she has in him, and she would never forgive him for deceiving her and who she claims is Indira Sharma and her real mother. This will surely become a tricky situation for poor Rishi. Who should he support? His daughter or Zara? Lahorewali is in urgent need of people who can take care of her both physically and mentally. I am sure Indu will be by her side, but she is not enough. We should not expect too much from Besharma family as they are back to their selfish money-minded nature. In my opinion Rishi is the only person who would let Lahorewali stay in SN, and I am sure Indu will turn to her father for this reason. That could also be the reason Indu made Lahorewali call his name on the phone, to give Rishi some kind of indication that Indira is alive. I just hope that they will not show too many sad scenes in the upcoming episodes as it would become very difficult to watch without shedding a tear or getting a little choked up. I keep myself positive by thinking that there is always light after the dark. You have to go through that dark place to get to it, but it is there, waiting for you.
Thanks for your patience reading the above.
