We are connected to a novel,or a drama,or that be a soap-opera,because we feel correlated to the story and its characters. And this is the very reason we have been so connected to "HD";but it s becoming hard now to either correlate with the story,or the characters.Because its neither convincing, nor acceptable to grasp the story hereon, where in one hand Rishi is being shown as a true and honest man,who has been unconditionally loving hie wife Indira;and believes that Zara is none other than her;and on the other hand the story seems to convince us all that the "Lahorewali" is Indira. "I always enjoy reading your posts because they are usually based on Hitler did- the show- rather than picking on particular elements of the show for the purpose of glorious admiration or hateful put downs. I am in complete agreement with the last paragraph of your post. We watch these shows to somehow feel connected with the storyline and characters. While the events in these characters lives are extraordinary, it is the human emotions that continue to connect us to the story. HD is quickly losing any relatibility with any of its characers.
No matter how great an actors performance may be, if I can't connect or relate to the story, the performance for me remains hollow. Its like a sugeon performing surgery on a manican- the surgeons technique may be flawless but in the end it remains pointless and meaningless!
