Yes, nice post Kaya! I agree with on the character of Shweta. For me she has always been a melodramatic queen, found typically in other Indian TV serials. She did not have the same kind of uniqueness or glow compared to other characters of HD. Perhaps that is why I never appreciated this character. CVs might have portrayed Shweta in this way intentionally, but those last months of HD are going to be remembered for its melodrama mainly. Aasiya is a brilliant actor, and she did a good job in HD. That is why we started hating/disliking her character in first place. 😃

Maybe the Cvs were trying to show how different she was from Indira. I wouldn't say I loved her character, but I always had a soft corner for her and I feel she shouldn't have had to leave Indu in such a manner either. All that said only Indu and zara shed tears for her today
