CHAPTER 14

Indira was working inside the kitchen.Though she was working but all the time she was blushing thinking about the blissfull moment both had last night.Sameer peeped here and there and then entered inside the kitchen.On seeing him,Indira almost screamed out of fear.She asked,"Sameer yaha kya kar rahe ho?"He stopped her and said,"Arey kuch nehi aise hi,tumse milne aaya tha."She asked,"Kyu raat ka milna kaafi nehi tha?"He replied,"Vo kabhi kisi husband ke liye kaafi hota hai kya?"Saying,he started romancing with her.Indira pushed him away a bit and said,"Kya kar rahe ho Sameer?Agar kisine dekh liya to?Kya kahenge vo log?"He replied,"Arey ma bohot khush hogi,kyuki ma ne to meri shaadi hi isiliye karvaayi ke mera dhyaan kaam se hat kar thora ghar par bhi lage aur abhi koi nehi aayega,kyuki ma itni subhe kitchen mein nehi aati hai."At that moment,Simi arrived in the kitchen and found both of them together romancing.She giggled and then cleared her throat.Sameer and Indira immediately got separated and he started searching for something.Simi asked,"Tu kya dhundh raha hai Sameer?"He replied,"Vo-mavo mainvoha pani lene aaya tha."Simi replied,"Pani to maine tere uthne se pehle hi tere kamre mein rakh diya tha.Aaj achaanak itni pyaas kyu lag rahi hai?"He gave a foolish smile and replied,"Oh- maine dekha nehi.Achcha vo Indiramere kapre nikaal dena main nahaane ja raha hu."Indira was pressing her lips to control her laugh and nodded her head.Sameer was about to leave when Simi asked,"Tu to apne kapro ko kisiko haath bhi nehi lagaane deta tha ab kya ho gaya?"Sameer said,"Main kya karu ma jabse aayi hai,mujhe apna ek bhi saamaan apne jagah par milta hi nehi hai,sab apne hisaab se badal diya hai."After that before Simi could say anything,Sameer fled away from there.Simi laughed out and said to Indira,"Bilkul apne papa par gaya hai.Jab hamaari aise nayi nayi shaadi hui thi na tab vo bhi bilkul aise hi karte the mere saath.Par mujhe sach mein khushi hai ke at last mera beta abhi machine se waapas insaan ban gaya."Indira smiled.

In the dining table,Aniruddh said to Simi that one of his school friend had invited us to Shimla for his daughter's marriage.He asked all,but since someone needed to be here so Sameer will stay at home and rest all will go to Shimla.Sameer looked with a jerk at Aniruddh and then made a puppy face towards Indira.Indira too was scared.Sameer stared at his mother,so that for one second,she could look at him,but she didn't.He looked at Indira and they were exchanging looks and expressions as both didn't want to go.Shobha understood that.He said,"Ani tu bohot swaarthi hai,ek to mere pote ko ghar par aise chorkar ja raha hai aur upar se tune ye bhi nehi socha ke uske khaane peene ka dhyaan kaun rakkhega?"Aniruddh replied,"Par biji,saare servants to honge hi na ghar mein."Shobha said,"Arey bewakuf,ghar mein biwi ke hote huye mera pota naukro ke haath ka khaana khaayega aur shaadi kya tune apne bete ko akele chorne ke liye karwaai hai?Main kuch nehi jaanti agar Sameer rahega to uske saath Indira bhi rahegi.Bas!"Aniruddh said,"Ok jab aap keh rahi hai to thik hai,aisa hi hoga."After the breakfast,Sameer gave a tight hug to Shobha and said,"Daadi you are great!Thank you so much!"Shobha replied,"Achcha achcha thik hai ab na meri poti bahu ko zyaada pareshaan mat karna."Sameer nodded his head.After a few days,everyone left leaving Sameer and Indira alone to enjoy their private moments.

One morning,as Indira had nothing to do,so she woke up late.Both were sleeping turning against each other.Sameer lazily opened his eyes and turned Indira towards himself and started playing with her hair.

O saathiya o beliya
Dekhi hai pehli baar aankhon ne yeh bahaar

Indira opened her eyes and smiled on seeing him.Sameer kissed on her forehead.

Indira got up on the bed wrapping herself with the blanket and then walked towards the window.She removed the curtains and the sun-rays fall on Sameer's face.She slowly walked to him.

Mausam ne kya jaadu kiya
Dil chura liya saathiya

She lied over him and Sameer turned her on the bed.

While they were alone,Sameer often bunked office and took Indira for outing.They were sitting in the park eating ice-creams and passing time with each other.

Dil tha pyaasa
Bas humne saara saagar do ghoont mein pee liya

Indira was eating Sameer's ice-cream and rubbed the whole ice-cream on Sameer's face.Sameer also took her for shopping and she purchased things upto heart's content.

Pal do pal mein
Bas aaj hi kal mein sau saalon ka janam jee liya

They went for boating also in a nearby boating club.They were sitting very close to each other and were enjoying the scene as well as romancing.

Dekha hai pehli baar jeevan ke aar paar

Sameer took her to a public garden,where they were walking and touching the flowers and of course romancing with each other.

Indira gave a side-hug to Sameer while walking.

Logon ko to milte dekha tha
Yeh dharti aasmaan mil gaye

She cupped Sameer's face and kissed on her nose and hugged him tightly.

Sameer too took her face in his hand and cared it lovingly.

They again started walking by giving a side hug to each other back to home.

[ 2 YEARS LATER ]

It had been 2 years of Sameer and Indira's marriage.They never felt that they were 2 years old couple and behaved always like newly wedded one.Everyone were sitting and chatting in the evening after Aniruddh and Sameer returned from office.Indira served them refreshments and Priya helped them.Shobha said,"Pata hi nehi chala kab do saal beet gaye inki shaadi ko ab na is ghar mein nanhe munho ki ilkaari sunne ke liye kaan bilkul taras gaye hai."Simi agreed,"Ha biji,Simi aur ma,mom aur mummyji sun sun ke mere to kaan pak gaye hai ab mujhe bhi daadi daadi sunna hai.Ab to main chahti hu ke jis tarah se Sameer biji ke peeche unse kahaani sunne ke daurta rehta tha,mere peeche bhi usi tarah se daurne ke liye koi aa jaaye,bas."Indira stole looks with Sameer.Both smiled.Shobha asked,"To Indira kab de rahi hai khush khabri?"Indira bit her lips and said,"Kya daadi aap bhi na."Saying she fled inside her room.

Sameer,after sometime,went to their room.On seeing him,Indira said,"Mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai Sameer."He said,"Ha bolo."She said,"Mujhe lagta hai kea b hume apne futureI mean bachche ke baare mein planning kar leni chahiye.Mujhe baby chahiye Sameer,hamaara baby chahiye,hamaare pyar ki nishaani,jo mujhe mummy aur tumhe papa bulaaye,hamaare rishte ko aur mazbut kare."Sameer said,"You are right.Ab mujhe bhi lata hai time has come,ab hume apne rishte ke agle paraav ke baare mein sochna shuru karna chahiye."Indira smiled.She asked,"Are you sure agar bachcha ho to hum sab kuch manage kar lenge,mera matlab hai,sab kuch thik thak rahega na."He assured,"Of course,we will manage aur vaise bhi jab waqt hota hai na to sab apne aap hi ho jaata hai.Don't worry,but just we have to be mentally prepared for it."Indira nodded her head and hugged.

CHAPTER – 15

[ 2 MONTHS LATER ]

All the family members were planning for Indira and Sameer's 2^nd marriage anniversary,which was just 3 days away.Indira also took part in that discussion while serving them their breakfast.On seeing her serving,Simi scolded Indira.She said,"Ye kya ho raha hai Indira?Mana kiya tha na maine tumhe kaam karne se?Kuch dino se itni thakaan ho rahi hai tumhe aur kal to behosh bhi ho gayi.Thora to araam kar liya karo,kitni kamzor ho gayi ho."Indira replied,"Mummyji kal se to bas araam hi kar rahi hu ab mere rehte aap log kaam kare aur main araam karu aisa mujhe achcha nehi lagega na isliye aa gayi aur vaise bhi bohot boar ho gayi hu."Simi said to Sameer,"Sameer ja beta usko andar le ja meri baat to sunti nehi hai."Sameer said,"Ha Indira chalo andar.Bohot kaam ho gaya hai tumhaara chalo."Sameer forcefully took Indira inside.He made her lie down on the bed and said,"Tum araam karo aur please zyaada panic mat lo aur doctor ne bhi kaha hai na tumhaara BP bohot low hai."Indira said,"Pata hai Sameer hum dono ne to doctor se baat ki hai aur unhone check karke bhi kaha hai ke hum dono mein internal koi problem nehi hai to phir main ma kyu nehi ban pa rahi hu aur upar se aajkal mujhe itni thakaan hoti hai ke bas jee karta hai soti hi rahu par mujhe ye bhi achcha nehi lagta ke mere rehte muummyji kaam kare."Sameer said,"Dekho Indira weakness se bhi to ho sakta hai na ye sab.Kabhi kabhi hota hai aisa,nothing to worry aur rahi baat baby na hone ki to Indira dadi hamesha kehti hai na ke jo hota hai bhagwaan ke marzi se hota hai,to shaayad abhi nehi chahte honge ke hum parents bane aur ye bhi ho sakta hai ke vo aisa chahte ho ke hum ek dusre ke saath thora aur time spend kare kyuki ek baar baby ho gaya to obviously hamaare life mein hum dono ke baad ek aur increment ho jaayega to thori si engagement bhi ho jaayegi.Hai na?So fikar mat karo jo hoga achcha hoga aur tumhe pata hai mera ek dost hai unke shaadi ke 8 saal baad unko baby hua hai.Its nothing new aur hamaara to sirf do hi saal hua hai."Indira smiled.Sameer said,"Don't worry tum araam karo aur doctor ne kaha hai na ke 3 din baad tumhaare check-up ke reports bhi aa jaayenge.So just be calm!Main chalta hu.Bye."He kissed on his forehead and left.

3 days later,the whole house was decorated beautifully for Sameer and Indira's marriage anniversary.All their business associates were invited.At night,Sameer returned from office and Simi asked him to get ready for the party.When Sameer went to his bedroom,he found Indira was getting ready.She was wearing a cream colour saree.On seeing her,Sameer could not move his eyes away from her.She was looking awesome and heavenly beautiful.He hugged her from inside and said,"Bohot khubsurat lag rahi ho.Bilkul jaise pehle din dekha tha.Do saalo mein tum bilkul bhi nehi badly bas aur bhi zyaada khubsurat ho gayi ho."She said,"Thank you."She was about to put on her ornaments,Sameer stopped her and took out a box from inside his suit and gave it to Indira.She opened it and found a pure diamond set of necklace,bangles and earings.Indira said,"These are so pretty Sameer.Thank you so much.Aaj party mein main yehi pehnungi."She wore them and said,"Main tumhaare liye bhi kuch laayi hu."Indira opened the wardrobe and took out a suit for Sameer and said,"Aaj tum ye pehenna aur ha tum mere reports laaye ho na?"He replied,"Ha ha laaya hu,don't worry everything is normal."Sameer after a shower got ready and both came outside together to join the party.

In the party everyone greeted them with applause.They cut their cake and fed each other with the single piece of cake.After that,Sameer made an announcement.He said,"Aaj main aap sabke saamne kuch kehna chahta hu.Hume hamaare marriage anniversary par sabne bohot saare taufe diye khaaskar ke meri family jinhone hume itna support aur pyar diya to aaj mere paas apni family ke liye ek return gift hai,a very special one,actually mere taraf se to hai par usse bhi kahi zyaada ye Indira ke taraf se hai aur vo gift ye hai ke…"He gave a side-hug to Indira and said,"Bohot hi jald is ghar mein sabka promotion hone waala hai khaaskar ke meri choti behen Priya ka kyuki abse vo is ghar mein sabse choti nehi rahegi balki ab vo bhi bari ho jaayegi."All were confused.Simi asked,"Tu kya bolna chahta hai Sameer saaf saaf bol?"He continued,"Promotions kuch aise honge ke Priya ab banegi bua,mom aur dad banenge dada dadi,dadi banegi bari dadi aur main banunga…papa."The whole family became stunned and speechless on hearing this,Indira kept on staring at Sameer.He lovingly said,"Yes Indira,you are pregnant,tum ma banne waali ho.Our dream came true."On hearing this,Indira broke into Sameer's arms.Everyone were damn happy on this news.It appeared to be a double celebration,alongwith marriage anniversary,the welcome news of the new member,the new generation.Simi embraced Indira and wiped her tears and said,"Tu ro kyu rahi hai beta,ye to kitni khushi ki khabar hai.Arey tune to aaj hume sach mein sabse bara gift diya hai.God bless you beta!"Everyone congratulated them alongwith their families.Priya was super exited and already told Indira that she would be the one who would spend time with the baby and no one else would be allowed to come near the baby.After the party,before leaving,everyone congratulated the couple once again.

When Sameer and Indira came into their room,Indira was sitting and shedding her tears of happiness caring her womb.Sameer said,"Dekha maine kaha tha na ke ek din bhagwaan zarur sunenge tum khaamakha mein hi fikar kar rahi thi.Ab meri baat dhyaan se suno,aaj se no kaam vaam and no tension,sirf araam and be haapy.Mujhe meri biwi aur mere aanewaale bachche ko bilkul bhi taklif mein nehi dekhna hai aur ha mujhe na ek choti si pyar si pari jaisi beti chahiye jiski aakhe tumhaari jaisi ho.Tumhe kya chahiye beta ya beti?"Indira replied,"Chahe beta ho ya beti,mujhe bas itna hi chahiye ke vo fit and fine is dunia mein aa jaaye jiske liye main saari raat jagu,jisey khilaau,sulaau aur jiske saath din bhar khelu."Sameer joined his head with Indira and said,"Everything will be alright dekh lena.Thank you so much for giving me the bestest gift of my life.I love you."They hugged each other and Indira said,"Thanks to you too and I love you too."

[ 3 YEARS LATER ]

In the evening,one small boy and a girl was peeping outside through the door of their parents' bedroom.The boy asked,"Choti tune dekha tha na thik che mamma chachchi(sachchi) mein dudu lekal aa lahi hai yaha?"The girl said,"Ha chotu maine chachchi mein dekha mamma itne baleee baleee gass(glass) mein dudu lekal aa lahi hai aul humne jo khaate time pe ganda kiya tha na to ichliye mamma ne totlat(chocolate) powdel bhi nehi daala dudu mein."The boy made a face and said,"Main uchke bina dudu nehi peeyunga."The girl said,"Mujhe bhi nehi peena chee!"At that time,Sameer returned from the bathroom after the shower and found them peeping at the door.The two kids were Sameer and Indira's twins Abhimanyu(Abhi) and Kiyana(Kiya) Diwan.They are the apples of everyones eyes.When they were born and when Indira was informed about it,she became extremely happy as well as tensed thinking how she could raise two kids together,but Sameer helped her a lot in that case and proved to be an efficient baby-sitter as her.After their birth,due to the pressure of carrying twins,Indira was at complete bed rest for 3 months,after delivery as she was very weak.At that time,except feeding,Sameer himself used to do each and every motherly job for both the kids.He broke the notion that fathers can never take care of the child like a mother.Till they were one year old,Sameer used to reamin awake beside the baby-cot and Indira used to sleep so that,she could wake up the whole day and take care of them and every day,Sameer used to go to office late.He was an extremely co-operative husband and father and with own initiative he learnt how to care a baby.Abhi was one minute elder to Kiya,but she never accepted it.Both had a fight that the other was the younger,so Abhi called her 'choti' and Kiya called him 'chotu'.He asked,"Chota badmaash company kya chal raha?Abhi kisko pareshaan karne ki planning kar rahe ho?"They turned and on seeing Sameer,both ran to him and Abhi said,"Dadda dadda mamma aa lahi hai du du leke aur bina totlat powdel ke,hume vo nehi peena."Kiya said,"Ha dadda hume kahi chupa do pease(please)!Aap hamaale achche dadda ho na."Both pouted.Sameer said,"Oh shaitaani karne ke baad jab mamma gussa hoti hai tab dadda ki yaad aati hai,hai na?Achcha bolo kya kaarnaama kiya aaj?"Kiya said,"Vo na mamma ne aaj bennan(bengan) banaaya tha hamaale liye,chotu ko achcha nehi lagta to uchne na mamma che chupaakal uchko neeche gila diya.Ab daadi hamecha kehti hai na ke chotu mela bhai hai,main chotu ki behen hu,to hume hamecha chaath lehna chahiye ichiliye,maine mamma che bola ke neeche gil gaya,mamma phil che diya,phil chotu ne gila diya,pal mamma ne hume ichbaal pakal liya aur bohot data aul kaha ke hume dudu mein aaj totlat nehi milega.Hume nehi peena vo dudu,aap hume chupa do na dadda."Sameer felt very pity on them.He said,"Ok thik hai,ek kaam karo aap dono jaakar washroom mein chup jaao."At that moment,Indira called them,"Abhi!Kiya!"Kiya said,"Chotu mamma aa gayi,jaldi chal."They both entered inside the washroom.

Indira went to their room,but didn't find them.After that she came to their bedroom and on seeing Sameer asked,"Vo dono idhar aaye hai kya?"He asked,"Kaun dono?"She said,"Main bachcho ki baat kar rahi hu Sameer,do do glass dudh main tumhaare liye nehi laayi hu."Sameer said,"Tum na bari kharoos hoti ja rahi ho Indira,sahi kehte hai jab biwi mummy banti hai na tab unko pati se pyar nehi rehta."Indira said,"Ha aur na pati jab baap ban jaata tab vo bhi bachcha hi ban jaata hai."At that moment,her eyes fall on the washroom's door and she found that a cloth was stucked in between the door.Indira understood that both were inside the washroom.She went towards the washroom and said,"Jo do bandar andar ghuse hai na agar vo abhi do minute mein bahaar nehi aaye to raat ko bhi unhe bengan khaana parega aur agle ek hafte ke liye bahaar ka khaana bandh."The medicine reacted and the door opened.Both came out like prisoners and stood in front of her making an angel face.On seeing their face,Indira said,"Ye bholi shakal banaakar koi faayda nehi hai.Saare faste honge is shakal pe main nehi.Kuch dino se aap dono ki shaitaani bohot bar gayi hai,mamma kuch bolti nehi hai,ghar mein sab chota kehkar nazarandaaz kar dete hai par iska matlab ye nehi hai ke aap iska faayda uthaao.Har roz shaitaani,har roz mamma ko pareshaan karna,ye sab nehi chalega,chalo dudh peeyo."Abhi said,"Mamma pease totlat powdel do na."Kiya too said the same,"Ha mamma aaj che hum khaane mein aapko kabhi tang nehi kalenge."Indira,after a lot of hardships agreed and mixed their chocolate powder.Both the kids stood up on the bed and hugged their mother and apologized and Indira too hugged them and said,"Mamma aap dono se bohot pyar karti hai,par jab aap dono aise shaitaani karte ho tab mamma ko bhi gussa aata hai."Sameer said,"Achcha abse thora thora karenge zyaada nehi.Hai na?"Both the kids nodded their head.The four had a group hug and Sameer said,"Dadda loves 3 of you."Indira said,"Mamma too loves 3 of you."Abhi and Kiya said,"Hum bhi."Everyone gave a tight hug.

Sameer and Indira's relationship which started with one kind of compromise to make their family happy,ended into the most beautiful relationship.They filled each others life with love,care and understanding and proved to be the true companion for each other.Their love flourished with time and their kids bind them more strongly with each other.They got everything in life and lived happily ever after.
