But I might have an answer for today. i think they just did not want to show Zara and Rishi in the party today. The main event was the pregnancy revelation and not the Zashi story. Hence bringing Sumit in is of no use. They cant really show Rati and Sumit breaking a leg in Yash's bday party because they would go there as their characters. So storywise Rishi not being in the party was fine. They could have shown Rishi in the party staring away at Zara!😆 But for the cake cutting they should have brought Sumit in, since he is also part of the present Zee family. But i get the same feeling that Sumit is not used much for Zee and HD's promotion. Rati akeli hi karti hai!😕 Even the SA trip, Sumit was a last min addition. Ritwik had to decline due to him taking up JDJ all of a sudden. I do agree, that lack of promotion is what makes this jodi not that popular compared to the other jodis. I mean yes we are crazy for them but I still feel like a being in a minority. I mean Sumit is absent everywhere. Sbs/sbb segments, promos, montage, Zee celebrations, interviews, channel promotions, after parties, press conferences! 😕 It feels really strange not seeing him up there enjoying himself with Rati. Rati is the channel's sweetheart. I have also heard that Rati mostly attends press conferences held in diff states for Zee and HD!😕 I think she walked out from one. 😆 It came out in bold letters. 😆
