Indu-Rishi scene:
It was a circumstantial misunderstanding where nobody could be faulted. From Indu's point of view, she is right to blame him as she knows her family as to how they viiolently react when it comes to money matters and more so when duped from their colorful dreams. This is why Indu jolts him why he does the same mistake time and again with his lies which invariably leaves Indu to suffer from hostility from her family. On the other hand, Rishi's outburst is justified as he feels only two wrongs can get a right. He believes there is no room for following principles being a gandian, you need to play your cards as to the situation and justifies it was the only way they could have saved Sharma Nivas and in the end he has benefitted her by getting back what she wants even if he is accused for his "Jugaad" and his lies. He makes a point Indu sees things only from her point of view and feels she is always right. That scene leaves Indu bit shocked to see the kind of outburst from Rishi which she doesn't see too often and those words hurts her as she is already nursing from injured wounds.

loved this part the most!awesome analysis!maheshji!

Thank You for keeping my wish Bare bhaiyya 😉
I just have a few things to add. Firstly, i noticed Inder's reactions throughout the episode. What compels him to do what he does? I ask Rishi's question. I mean when the gun was pointed towards Indira Inder constantly showed hand gestures which clearly indicate he doesnt wish for his Babli's death. So where lies the duality in his character? Why the sudden transformation into Dr Jekyll from Mr Hyde??? Inder is a character so full of complexity. Will try to deconstruct another day. He is a mad man guided by avarice running behind a pot of gold with abject futility

As for the last scene. A complex yet successful take on the iconoclastic duel between the idealist and the non-idealist. I liked that Rishi never really transgresses his boundaries. He poses another question. If integrity and honesty are sometimes oversold. 😕 He says: Crooked work must be done in a crooked way. It shows that he values integrity too but in a situation like this Rishi choose a path which he found was the most suitable to achieve their goal. Another thing I loved about the confrontation was Indira's dialogues that most did not note, overshadowed by Rishi's towering soliloquy. Her anger was misdirected. We constantly see that even though she addresses Rishi her clear insinuation is her family and their lust for money, her disappointment in them as she had believed with her heart they had changed and had been there for her without greed empowering their senses. Rati commanded her lines like the pro that she is. 👏 She keeps on saying: Do you not realize that my family has an insatiable greed for money. How could you fuel this thirst. It clearly shows it is her family she feels disappointed in at the end of her long and tiring day. She had felt they had finally accepted her and have been able to acknowledge her efforts! 😭 Like Moksh said: Indu and her expectations for the world and the pple living in it esp her family result in Indira hurting herself again and again. Open your eyes and see your family for the way they are. Nothing can alter this reality.

I see it going either way too. They can stress on Indira and her propensity for rigorous hardwork and effort or Rishi to stress on the way the world is discerned to be made up of. But I dont know why the Cvs might want to try and uphold the sense of reverence hardships have. Maybe they want to show that Indu's ways might be impractical but it adds layers of integrity to a person. We should try and not take the high road as long as we can. 😃 Honesty is a virtue one should try and adopt. It means taking an impractical or in other words a long route to our goals but at the end of the day it gives one mental peace. Success is just a state of our mind. Indira is an out of the world character trying to play her little part in stopping the decadent society around her from flourishing. 👏 An Idealist without fear that every person with a good heart wud strive to be. No wonder Rishi feels attracted towards Indu. He finds her methods impractical yet inspiring. A woman in a man's world trying to play the game using her own set of rules. Indira is amazing. 😉
