Very well put Raj.It is beyond the understanding of any sane person,how a writer like Illa Bedi Dutta,who has her roots in this profession,be so naive.The very writer,who has given us characters like,Indira and Rishi; whose creation of this magical romance between two different people,from two different worlds,have captivated the audience,mind and thought;has executed her story and the characters to such an extent.I don't know who is to be blamed for this unexpected destruction of the story of 'Hitler Didi',the writer,or the creative visionaries?But what is done cannot be undone;but what could be done is in their hands,and they seem to further take their creation for the final destruction with this up-coming 'mahasangam' episode,which,as stated,is full of comedy.I don't know about other soap-operas,but the suspense and darkness that is all over in the present story-line of 'Hitler Didi',does not allow us to plunge into fun-fare suddenly. As audience,we're emotionally connected to the characters and the story of 'HD';which demands for a gradual reconciliation,a natural way to settle down the storm it has raised,not a gala celebration.Many of us are of the opinion that,it is the re-union of Indira and Rishi that is going to illuminate the darkness in the plot;but I think its not the re-union of these two characters that we're awaiting for;it is the gradual evolution of Indira and Rishi's relation that will make sense in the story;it is rationality,that is the need of the hour,not comedy;it is the simplicity of the plot,that needs to be uncomplicated,not the complication of a simple story.And if you all re-call,this is exactly what happened with the story-line of 'HD',in the March episodes;a sudden transformation was made in the character's essence,a sudden leap took Indira and Rishi to a silly marriage track,which collapsed badly.And it is inevitable,that when a story is rushed,it derails,and collapses.There was a gradual and beautiful development in Indira-Rishi relationship,which could have gone well till today,creating more magic to the story;instead of a forced down marriage plot,and an irrational change in Indira's character,i.e.,making her 'laugh',which was almost unreal and unacceptable.Whether it be a character in a novel,or in a soap-opera,we as audience,enjoy the gradual evolution of them,which gives a sense of realism in the story.As I see it,'HD' was executed long back,when the writer,or the cvs had brought the issue of marriage in the story;they had compromised with the characters,Indira and Rishi,the moment they ended the trial plot.Although we'll enjoyed Indira-Rishi moments,somewhere in the back of our mind,we all were expecting a gradual and rational turn of events after Rishi won the case,kept his promise to Indira to be on her side.The story could have been told in a better way,making it more realistic.
Having said about the destruction of 'HD',there is not much left to say.Because the more we dig deeper,the more ugly it will become.But nonetheless,let just say,if we keep hope against hopelessness,than there is perhaps a little chance still twinkling,which can revive the story and bring back balance in 'HD'.And this hope is with the way the cvs are going to bring forward the story in the present;the way they handle the characters,without detaching them from the theme,or from the audience. Now that Rishi's kidnapper will be unmasked,things can take a new turn from here.If Rishi is alive,but Indira and the cop could not find him,supposes him dead;there is a possibility for the character Rishi to come back in Indira's life as a new him(his feelings for her being unchanged);if Indira's mother gets shot,and at the same time,she is unable to find any trace of Rishi's existence,that there is a possibility for her too,to change;retreat back to her shell,and become more bitter,which will show her strength as 'Hitler';and if at all there is no romance drawn between Indira and Sumer characters.Well these are my presumptions,and don't take them as prophecy for 'HD''s coming story-line.These are the if(s) I consider,which might give us back the 'old HD';don't intend to hurt anyone 's emotions regarding their faith in 'HD'.or their love for Indira-Rishi love story.
