i'm back with the update... here we go...

Chapter 9

Rishi after leaving his boss's cabin drove straight to his home where he helped sanjay to settle down and then gathered the suff indira told him to bring and then drove back to hospital.

While rishi was on the way to hospital his car stopped at the signal, as rishi was waiting for the signal to turn green his eyes fell on a board which read "chandini chowk, 15 km" and just within a flash rishi turned his car and drove off. Soon the car stopped in front of a narrow gully which read "parathe wali gully, chandini chowk, delhi 6". Rishi parked his car outside the gully and started walking. The nostalgia of good old days brought a smile on his face as he walked through the streets but then suddenly his smile faded and his face now tensed remembering the happiest day of his life which had turned into the most painful one, his marriage to indira!

Exactly one and half year back it was the day when indira and he had officially tied the knot, it was a court marriage, they had decided to do it immediately after rishi was freed from the kiddnapers, it was a quiet affair and nobody except radhe and amma were there in the court as witnesses but they had also not informed anyone else, they had thought it would be a surprise for them but little did they know that it will turn out to be a surprise for them instead, and that too a bitter one. He clearly remembered that it had been raining that day and the whole of gully was flooded and they had returned from the court to Sharma niwas to seek blessings of indira's family. How happy they were and excited too, they were going to start their new life a husband and wife. It was like a dream for them, the happiest one and they were out of it back into reality with those venomous words………….

"kya tune shadi karli, haye haye main yeh sunne se pehle mar kyon nai gayi, ari besharam yeh karne se pehle tuje apne parivar ka zara sa bhi khayal nai aya. Tune yeh ek bar bhi nai socha ki tere parivar ko kaun palega,? Najane kya jadoo kar diya hai tuj par is kanji ankh wale ne kash wo kidnapers ise mar dete" the were the words of kutumb when they had just entered Sharma niwas

Indira: ma kya bol rahi ho tum ,soch samaj kar bolo yeh mere patihai jaise tum apne us pati jo tume bar bar dhokha deta reheta hai, tum jab uske bare mai nai kuch sun sakti to mere pati ke bare mai aisa bolne ka haq tume nai hai

" are wah didi aise to tum bada auro ko gyan bati firti ho ki kya sahi hai aur galat lekin khud unhe follow nai karti, tum ma se aise kaise bat kar sakti ho, aise to bahut bhashan deti ho ki mai apne parivar se bahut pyar karti hon, unke liye sab kuch karti ho lekin jab khud ko pyar mil gaya to parivar ko bhool gayi? Huh selfish kahin ki!" said mandira in ajealous tone

As if these words were not enough munna came in and literally killed them with those poisoned barbs

" are muje to pehle se hi pata the ki yeh sirf dhikava karti hai humari parvah karne ka sach to yeh hai ki iska ashiq hi sab kuch hai iskeliye"

Bahai saab ek bar meri baat to sun lo" indira wanted to say something but her words were cut short by sunaina"indira tune ek bar bhi nai socha ki ishan aur seher ka kya hoga tu yeh ache se janti hi ki tere bhai ka parivar tere upar nirbhar karta hai aur agar tu is ghar se chali gayi to in bachhoon ka kya hoga, socha hai tune?"

Indira: lekin bhabi mai is ghar se kahan ja rahi ho maine sirf shadi ki hai ,apni zimmadariyon se hath nai dhoe hai yeh ghar age bhi waise hi chalega jaise pehle chalta tha"

Munna: achha…… ab plan samajme aya tumlogon ka. Wah beta cha gayi tuto , shadi karke ise ghar me apne pati ke sath reh kar tu hum par raj karna chati hai………kyon sahi pakdana maine?

And then turning towards rishi"are wah beta kya dimag paya hai tune…… janta ho yeh tera hi plan hoga sara…..abe tere ma bap ne tuje ghar se nikal diya to tu humara ghar hathiyane chal pada waise manna padega tu to mujse se bhi bada besharam hai mai to nikamma hon, apni bahen ki kamai kahata hon apr kam ae kam apne gahr me to rehata hon, apne sasural mai to nai pada gharjamai banker……….cha acha hai duniya kobhi dekne de ki kais ek gharjamai ne apne sasural walon ke ghar se chat chinli."

These words of munna had made rishi's blood boil wih anger "bas bahaisaab bahut hua apne agar ek aur shabd apne muh se nikala to mai khud bhi nai janta ki mai kya karoga, maine indira se kaha tha alag rehne keliye lekin wo nai mani ap saablogo keliya lekin apsabne use aj galat sabit kar hi diya, ajtak wo job hi kartiayi hai apsab ke liye wo saab apbhul gaye? Aur tum mandira , tum jis bahen ko selfish keh rahi ho agar wo nai hoti na to tum baat karna to dur is society mai nazar uthakar bhi nai chal pati. Shrimatiji mai ab apka pati hon aur apki sari zimmadari mari hai aur appar ab mara poora haq bhi hai aur maine yeh decide kiya hai ki ab hum is ghar mai aur nai rahege, mai harroz apko yon beizzat hote hue nai dekhsakta apchaliye meresath

Indira: lekin rishi…………………

Rishi: lekin wakin kuchnai, ap agar apni zimmadariyon ka hawala denachati hai to sunlo,zimmedariyan ghar ke bahar reh kar bhi poori ho sakti hain, inko paise se matlab hai na, ap har mahine apni poori salary inko dedena use ghar kaise chalana hai inko sochnedo, apko ab apna khoon jalane ki zaroorat nai hai

"han han leja ise main bhi dekhti ho kit um log kaise rahoge bina chat ki aur tere pas to nakri bhi nai hai tu kya khayal rakhega iska do din me isko akal ajayegi ki ek nikemme ladke ke saath shadi kar ke isne kitni galti ki hai" kutumb said taunting rishi

Indira: bas ma apsab logon ne bahot bol liya mere pati ki baizzati karne ka apko koi haq nai hai aur muje inpar poora bharosa hai yeh muje kisi cheez ki kami nai hone dege aur paison ki chinta apmat karo har mahine apko paise miljayege yeh indira rishi kumar ka apse waada hai.

The greedy sharmas agreed to this and were happy that indira was leaving the house that too with a promice of giving her salary bur still munna made indira write this promice on paper so that she can never betray them. All this was heart wrenching for them but still indira did it and mandira and sunaina in no time packed their bags and handed it to them and told them to leave inconsiderate of the fact that it was raining cats and dogs outside and that was the day when indira had pleged that she will never enter Sharma niwas again"

Rishi came out of the world of those bitter memories when his path was blocked by a wall and he realized that he was standing in front of a gate that read" Sharna niwas, chandini chowk, Delhi 6"

Chapter 10

Standing in front of Sharma niwas rishi reluctantly went ahead still in dilemma whether to go inside or to turn and go back he was startled by some noises coming from inside the house, rishi realized that the door was partly opened and he was just about to knock when he heard mandira saying

Mandira: " ishan ki school fees bharni hai to mai kya karon! Har mahine sabko apne apne hiss eke paise mil jate hai na to phir mai kyon apne pocket money se uski fees bahron? Waise bhi agle hafte college ka fest hai uske liye muje nai dress bhi leni hai aur bhabi waise bhi ishaan apka beta hai uski zimmedari bhi aplogo ki hai, meri nai!"

Sunaina: mandira dekh is bar tu adjust karle, mai vada karti ho kit ere college ke function se pehle tere paise wapis kardoogi, dekh agar dodin mai fees nai bhari to ishan ka naam school se kaat dege, plz mandira

Mandira: to isme mai kya kar sakti ho, sorry bahbi mai compromise nai karogi mai indira di nai ho aur muje kahne ki bajaye ap bhaiya se kyon nai kehti ki wo sharab peena thodi kam karde I'm sure isse ishan ki school fees kepaise zaroor ajayege. Mai college ke liye late ho rahi ho mai chalti ho, bye!

Rishi heard all this but instead of feeling shocked he smirked "yeh log nai sudherege" And before mandira could reach the door rishi entered the hose all of them were stunned on seeing him and there was silence for a moment which was broken by ishan who ran to him after he saw rishi

Ishan: rishi phuphaji! Ap agaye bua nai ayi?(ishan asked innocently)

Rishi: (he hugged ishan) mai theek ho hero tu kaisa hai?

Ishan: mai theek ho phuphaji par mera aap ke aur bua ke bina bilkul man nai lagta aap ghar wapis kyon ani ate, plz ajao………..

Rishi melted on this request of ishan but before he could reply mandira cut him

Mandira: aap yahan kyon aye hai? Di ne kya paise bheje hai(that greedy streak was so obvious on her face that rishi's bllod boiled)

Sunaina : par abhi to mahina khatam nai hua hai aur indira to paise pehli tharikh ko bhejti hai wo bhi apne daftar ke peon ke haath to rishi bhai saab aap……..

Rishi: wo bhabi mai………………..(before he could say further munna came out from his room)

Munna: kya hua kyon shor macha rakha hai, ek to tabiyat theek nai hai meri kal raat ki utri bhi nai hai dhang se aur tum logon ki kich kich phir shuru ho gayi,(suddenly he notices rishi ) abet u kyon aya hai yahan, zaroor teri hitler biwi ne bheja hoga tuje yeh dekne ke liye ki hum sookon se to nai jee rahe waise bhi chid hoti hai use humare kush rehne se, sooch rahi hogiki kafi waqt ho gaya hai sabka khoon nai chosa to tuje bhej diya humari jassosi karne

Rishi: bhai saab mu]e indira ne nai bheja, mai to yahan apse apni kushi baantne ayatha, yehbatane aya tha ki aap mama ban gaye hai, humare ghar do pariyon ne janam liya hai, par aplog to………..

Munna: kya!!( totally shocked) indira ma ban gayi? Wo daftar to jayegi na ab ……………naukari to nai chodne ki soch rahi who………………huh jab ghar mai bachhe paida hote hain to ghar me tarraki hoti hai aur us indira ki bacchiyan……… wo ate hi humare pet pe laat marne chali ayi….. indira ne naukari chod di to humara kya hoga? Manhoos hai s***I, paida hone se pehle he mar……………

In one moment these words were out of munna's mouth and in the other he was pinned to the wall with his neck in rishi's hands

Rishi: (anger fuming in his eyes agar mere bachhon ke bare me ek lau shabd bola to jitna zameen se bahar hai use dugna zameen ke andar gad dooga( there was so much anger in rishi's voice and eyes that munna started shivering from fear he was not able to speak a word, seeing rishi's anger and realizing the situation ishan intervened)

Ishan: plz phuphaji papa ko chod do mai inki taraf se sorry bolta ho. Plz…..

Rishi on listening to ishans request dropped munna on ground and turning towards oter members he began

Rishi: ap log na kisi humdardi kelayak nai ho, mai to sirf yahan kushi bantne aya tha yeh soch kar ki aap indira ke parivar wale ho,par apka parivar to sirf paisa hai, kahir galti meri hai jo mai yahan aya aur apko ekbaat batado, mai is halat me indira ko to kam nai karne dooga lekin ha maine socha tha ki ghar ki zimmedari mai uthaloga par apsaab log uske layak nai ho, aur han ajke baad indira yahan paise bhejegi yeh bhool jao aurab mai bhi aplogon ki madad nai karoga bhagvan ne haath par diye hai khud kaam karo aur khao. Chalta ho!

Sunaina: aisa mat bolo bhaisaab yeh ghar sirf indira ki kamai par chalta haiagar wo paise nai degi to humara ghar kaise chalega, ishaan ke school ki fees bhi bharni hai do din mai uske paise bhi nai hai………plz bhaisaab aisa mat karo………….is ghar mai jise kamana chaiye wo to sharab aur jue mai mast rehta hai(and gave munna a disgusted look)aise mai in bachoon ka bhavishay indira par hi nirbhar karta hai

Rihi: bhabi yeh to sabko pehle sochna chaiye the na har bar apsab indira ko zalil karte hai aur aj jo bhaisaab ne kaha hai na uski koi mafi nai hai. Ajtak indira aur maine apke bachon ko apna samja aur humare bacho ke liye yeh aisa bolsakte hai….. kahir mai apki koi madad nai kar sakta par han yeh vada karta ho ki ishan ki padai ka sara kharch mai uthaoga par baki koi aur umeed mujse mat rakhna. Mai chaltaho ab

While he was about to leave ishan caught his hand

Ishan: phuphaji muje bua se milna hai plz muje unkepas lechalo!

Rishi: (kneeled on floor and lovingly said to ishan) nai ishan aj nai bua abi hospital mai hai par promise karta hon jab wo hospital se ghar ajayegi to tumhe unse milwane zaroor lejaoga, tumahari bua bhi tumhe bahut yaad kati hai…………….acha yeh tumhare liye laya tha par dena bhool gaya and hands him some chocolates which he had purchased for him while coming to chandini chowk

Ishan: thank u phuphaji and runs to his room

Rishi turns and leaves the Sharma niwas without looking at other members even once "enough of your selfish ways, as rishi I could never change you with love now ricky diwaan will tame you all, just wait and watch…………….. I will make things allright shrimatiji, I promice" thinking this rishi walked through gully and reached his car and drove back to hospital.
