But keeping India's pov in mind, I think no one understands her charter because she is more complicated and her way of expressing love is not as straightforward as rishi. Both characters have one through a lot & express themselves differently, she put a wall up in fear of getting hurt and he makes himself completely vulnerable and open to receive love. They both put others before themself and are selfless and good at heart.
Also I don't think we can judge if it's a dream or if Rishi is actually with her, dreaming together.
That well find out in Monday. Regardless I don't think understand what's wrong with her dreaming of their future.. it was evident from thursday's episode that she was concerned for Rishi & wanted to talk to him. I don't think she only wants to get back together b/c of her family being all well, I think she finally has sorted out the misunderstandings/incidents and is realizing sub/consciously how much rishi means to her. He has a permanent place in her heart and even in earlier episodes we could tell how much the separation killed her on the inside, and how much she still cared for him. She just tried her best to hide it but it showed through expressions and even some actions.
Lastly, concerning the name change. Sorry but I think thats sexist. Are you saying its ok for a woman to change her last name but if a man changes his, then he's losing his identity?! I think it was actually really very sweet. I personally was like wow any girl would melt at those words! I guess it was kinda funny too.
And I think both need therapy. They have been through a lot since their childhood, and meeting with a psychologist would really help them! Talking to a professional is something pretty much everyone could use and I think it's normal and would only be of benefit :)
Hi RaSu
re red portion: We all know she is a complex character scarred by her father's betrayal. She loves Rishi, but is scared. It is because we understand and dare I say love her, that we are pained by her flaws.
We (as in generic "we") acknowledge or introspect on help that even our worst enemy provides at our time of need. Indira has had no trouble acknowledging Inder's help, once at the police station, and then during her victory lap. But she said nary a word about the price Rishi paid for his help. No acknowledgement, no thanks. If it was not all a dream on friday, tehn when she first saw Rishi in the Barsati, her first words should have been of thanks and acknowledgement of the price he paid. Instead it was all about her, that she has deigned to forgive him, "kitna bara ehsaan kiya hai us par mauf kar ke"
And I don't mean to say she does not see his pain. She was pained when Rishi touched the ground his mother stood on as a substitute for her blessings. But all these tiny pains get swept away in the tsunami that is her family and the emotional hold they have on her. She soon reverts back to seeing the world thru her lenses, her struggles to support them etc
re green part: Ofcourse she loves him. She was desirous of speaking with him on thursday to tell him she has forgiven him. that was the predominant theme.
Predominant theme was not that she saw his wounds, and wants to heal them.
See, todate, her perspective is still "me, my family", not "him"
when we truly love, we want the best for the other person, no sacrifice is too big if it will bring a smile to our lover's face, will easen his/her's burden even for a second.
Rishi, has by and large, demonstrated it. Indira has not. Even when she expresses her love, it is in context of "her" and "her family" needs.
It is like Rishi is expected to be in perpetuatal atonement mode, forever sacrificing his needs, his self respect to pay for his guilt as well as pay for his love for Indira
