I know I can't expect a true legal case from a TV serial. Some how I am not happy and disappointed with the court proceedings showing for last few days.Winning a case is different from fighting a case for justice. Some where I am disconnected and not able to appreciate the direction.

Ultimately we all will be happy if Rishi wins this case. After all Sameer must be punished.
And finally Indu and Rishi must be united...

But I agree with you in the sense that the court proceedings are very haphazard... there does not seem to be a logical flow to the arguments and counter arguments. Also there are a lot of facts (like our friends have discussed on other threads) which are very important for this case.. For instance Sameer's past, Mandira's past, Sameer's attempts at harming Indu, etc etc. These are not yet covered or ignored completely.

But the first thing I expected Rishi to do was to get the lab report confirming the physical assault / rape. He should have also called the doctor (the lady doctor who examined mandira initially) as witness to confirm the rape. Then the whole line of argument which Rani is taking (about consensual sex) would be blown to pieces...

Anyway, all is well that ends well. So hope justice is delivered in the end. If after all this Sameer escapes then...😡😡

@bold: I think he's saving the best for the last. Right now, he's just warming up. 😊

But yes, not asking for the lab report is a bit much. And he still hasn't had a full blown lawyer-client meeting with Mandira where he gets her to talk of everything. Or at least, we aren't aware of it. He does not know that she tried to blackmail him with the photos etc. Some gaps, which am sure will get filled in later.

I really hope the CVs handle this thing professionally. They should close all loops and cover all angles. ( If they are not getting ideas, they can visit this forum 😆).

Then there is this DNA test angle which probably might come later.. But somehow even the court-room drama is going too fast. In reality we don't get the very next day as a hearing date. There is some gap. So during this time, Rishi can gather evidence and prepare his case thoroughly. How I love to see him WORK on this case rather than simply arriving in court (seemingly unprepared).

We know he is a superman and will come up with a master stroke at every point. But if it is made realistic, we will take much more delight in his lawyer-giri !!!!

You know, it would be wonderful if he took the line of argument that even if she had consensual sex with this person at some earlier point, that does not justify rape at any point in time. Somehow, it is an automatic assumption that if the girl has slept with someone once, then it is not possible that she can be raped. Which is a ridiculous argument.

I think someone had mentioned this in a different thread somewhere (jjkg, if I am not wrong).

Rishi may argue this at a later time...hopefully. Right now, there are several loopholes, but this line of argument would be valid even if he did not have any proof backing him.

Well, one thing I found weird was that Rani could scream like that in court today n d judge didnt warn her...but warned Rishi yesterday..anyway;
Obviously the case would end sooner if the medical report was made proof provided it has not been tempered with by Sam or Rani... cvs wudnt want that, they will drag this for sometime n hopefully they show some logical arguements by both sides n equally smart counters by Rishi 😉
Moreover, I think d report is not ready yet ...😃
And yes! I too would love to see him working on the case; reading up, noting down points, collecting evidence, n perhaps some Inshi moments 😊
Rishi has to tackle one arguement at time, he has to nullify the evidence submmited by the other party. Only then he can carry on with his line of arguement n evidence
@ knownturk, I think Rani's arguement here is that Mandira has slept with Sameer n snapped those photos to trap n blackmail him, thus d rape is a ploy, not that she has already slept with him then how she can be raped if thats what you mean...

Thanks for sharing.
But I am not happy so far as how they are dealing with the court proceedings.

Right. And it was such a cliche that Rishi turned out to be a lawyer to fight the case. How does this happen in every TV show, suddenly one of the main actors turns lawyer. ANd then the kidnapping bit. God!! Why does not anything good ever happen to lead actors.??
