@the TM,I really don't think they have showed something unrealistic. In India,Police Officers do make the mockery of the rape victim most of the time. It's the 'Male-Chauvinism' which speaks, not 'Humanity'.Anything happens to the girl, that's considered to be her fault only! Same goes to Indian Society as well.As someone already mentioned here,in da Park-Street(West Bengal) assault case, the 'Officers' asked the victim why she was drinking in a Pub so late at the night. After that, one of the officers actually made a sarcastic comment. He told the other officer that he should go to Pubs at midnight and have beer, who knows he might get a girl as well! Not only this, they asked her how was it possible to get raped in a moving car, what was the position and etc.etc.
Even after that horrible phase, certain people(both common people and politicians) tried to entitle her as a 'character-less' girl('coz she was separated from her husband),and exclaimed that she actually invited rape on herself,by drinking late-night.
So you see,these actually happen.
It was me who mentioned Park-Street assault case. And I would appreciate, if CV's use this powerful medium to promote these laws which could be an eye-opener for the people rather than focusing on regular approach of the society and police.Every one knows about horrible phase. What will be interesting is the use of these rules by Ms. Hitler to fetch justice rather than looking for a witness.

Ya.I know that you have mentioned. But whatever are the rules of the law, they are already sold to the money and power of Diwans.I think they are gonna follow NOKJ here,by informing the media and asking for public-support.This is the only way left.
That was the worst kind of scene of robbery shown and the way it was handled...the police already entered with warrant and arrested Indu..they gave her 3rd degree kind of treatment...they dint even bother to ask other members presented there in SN..
Let's see if CV's intend to do really something in this direction. Already, Indira's arrest during necklace robbery fiasco was executed lousily.
They had shown Sameer sleeping with Mandira thinking her a Indu cos he was drunk..and when Rishi called him and told him about his wedding with Indira and Mandira was blackmailing him...this made Sameer lost his cool...and in frustrations he raped her..Originally posted by: babygirl198722
when was she raped i taught they slept together when thhey was drunk
The whole scene was handled immaturedly..Indira cudhv ask the officer to give her in writing tht he wont register the FIR, ask for a lady officer to handle the case...Cvs shud hv shown Indira taking the help a media...We all know how the police ask those horrible questions...CVs have to handle this track sensibly and shud jump onto other track...most of the serials just leaves many questioned unanswered, many problems remain unsolved, they just keep adding more tracks..Since this is serious matter and Indira knwon as Hitler...lets see how CVs will show tht Sameer is punished and lets see whether they can do justice with this track and also with Mandira the victim.RajG, I have not yet watched the episode, but going by what you wrote I completely agree with your title. There are various ways of not registering the case, like they could have asked for medical reports/ doctor's testimonial as proof. Asking for witness is b******t! Come on, if there was a witness won't he/she/they come forward to help the victim?
This is not a way to present a sensitive issue. And what about Ms. Hitler? Where did her knowledge on law disappear to accept the lame excuse of inspector? I would have expected her to behave quite knowledgeably in this critical situation? Didn't she feed some brain in to his head? I remember how well she responded when she herself was arrested in the bus and dragged to police stationNot only of other things, CV's are also hell-bent on making mockery of themselves and their so-called strong character.Post watching the episode:Looks like CV's are too self-engrossed and in the wake of glorifying Indira, are treating this sensitive issue lousily.I could very easily find basic faults in the execution of the police station sequence. First of all, Indira could have asked for a lady police officer while reporting. (Just couple of days back when she was arrested and tortured in the lock-up, there were lady inspectors and constables. So this could not be different police station.) Secondly, she could have easily pointed out to inspector that in such complaints FIR is lodged by victim and no witnesses are required.Just in February a sexual assault case in West Bengal was very much in news where the victim had to face situation similar to today's sequence. This incident brought many existant laws in to light and CV's could have very nicely showcased those pointers through this track. Alas, instead of realising their social responsibilities they just decided to focus on a fiction showcasing age-old, narrow-minded approach of the society!
