By saying it may be he is trying to convince Indira that she has already fallen in love with him thats why she doesnt slap him.Finally this incident will make Indira accept Rishi as her husband as she doesnt have any other option .Anyways i have a feeling that both of them will reveal the truth about their marriage to Indira's family.
