when someone like Indira who was imagined her father as the best man on the world and made a world around him, faced the cruel reality maximum time they turned into stone...they would forget the way which could lead her to that world where happiness exist...they don't want to be happy coz they couldn't find any reason to be happy. bt if Indira's mom paid some attention to her daughter might be she didn't turn into what she is now...bt this is another cruel reality that maximum time in a lower middle class family mothers are busy with their sons. they never paid any attention to the girl's feelings or her existence.
