Tondon got such a well-written and loved character but failed to catch the nuances of the character.

You rooted for Sujal in his obsession, his darkest hours. Here Sufiyaan failed to invoke any kind of feeling.

The setup and the song both were fab.

Rajeev played Sujal with subtlety. You could feel his obsession, his smouldering eyes and restrained anger. He was hurt and vengeful and you understood why. Sufiyaan seemed like a spoilt brat who was angry because someone took away his favourite toy.

Bebakee lacked acting, it lacked chemistry. They had a beautiful setting and premise, they had such beautiful names and could have done something more bearable even with a not so good character arc only if they performed better. If we are being honest then Kashish didn't have a very good character arc, Piyush was irritating with his assumptions but you kind of let it go because their performances were promising.

And the extra stuff that was pushed into Bebakee, the less said about it the better. I didn't understand the need of gay angle, it didn't add anything to the storyline and was forced just to keep up with trend of such topics on OTT.

Kahin toh hoga had characters which were probably as flawed but you couldn't hate them. Take Rishi for instance, he was a negative character but he was very popular. Mehak and Mauli, even though they were stupid enough to fall for Rishi, they were so much better than Kainat's sisters. What was even going on there??

Her acting ugh. Tolerable hai but I was totally done with that kiss which came out of NOWHERE. Like probably they wanted to go for sexual tension but didn't really see/felt that in gast furious way they went to "lovers" . Atlst for kashish u could feel something

First her pretty face. Then the injustice of it all- marrying a friend, ex constantly around taunting, then falling for husband and he dying. Idhar to I feel kainat and sufiyan if they have opened their mouth it would have gone ok. Faltoo ka angst.

Kainaat was tolerable but I didn't understand why the boys were mad over her.

Kashish was damn pretty... You could see why all men lost their marbles over her. The only problem in Kashish's situation was her ex continueous hovering and her evil mil. But even there you could say had she opened her mouth on her engagement with Piyush , none of the events would happen.

These shows thrive on 'faltoo ka angst'.

But it gave us Sujal whose angst over losing Kashish was heart rendering.

I did not watch the show post Rajeev's exit. IMO Sujal died with his exit.

Indian FL creates her own problems and is so entrenched in mahanta and preaching and tyaags that the other characters might forgive them instantly to spare another sermon from these faltu females.

You should watch Kripa from KYPH. Another Mahan atma who never repented.

Sufiyaan was terrible. How soon was he jumping from one girlfriend to another on rebound!! And he was truly a selfish arse.

Sujal was a class act and class apart from this idiot. For the whole show, he belonged to Kashish. Even in his berserk revenge phase he maintained his self respect.

I don't want to get started on Kripa. The entire show was based on Kripa being in her own world, imagining things and making decisions on her own and then repenting it while hurting Angad all through.

Even I didn't watch Kahin toh hoga after Rajeev's exit. I remember crying when I realised he is leaving. But since my mom watched the show I knew what was going on.

Infact if Ekta wants, she can still take Rajeev and Aamna for something, maybe this reboot or something else. They still look as gorgeous as ever and I'm sure they can easily recreate the same magic.

Hello! I am not a very active member here! I lost the password to my old I-F account and had troubles logging in. So created this account a few days ago. I am finally opening the wicket on comments with this one - Because I had to comment on a topic with Rajeev Khandelwal and Aamna Sharif in it! I personally don't think any couple on Indian TV has levelled up to the standards they have set. They were so classy for iTV. Classy to the T. Didn't need any fancy outdoor setting or scale of shoot. They were just a league of their own. I mean no other couple on Indian TV could do it for me, the way they did.

I personally believe that Star isn't uploading KTH episodes on Hotstar, because Star channel is still milking off of KTH. They keep on re-running KTH episodes on Star Utsav. They do get some revenue there too and exposing all episodes on Hotstar, whilst also telecasting those on Star Utsav / Star Bangla won't make sense.

But if you're missing KTH magic, some of these youtube creations on them is phenomenal. My personal favorite youtube channels for Raj Aamna content is Julia Creations and Bhawna Singh. You will get a lot of good stuff there. I've been binge watching all the Thoda sa pyaar songs they uploaded on youtube, VMs and story recaps. Cheers!

I just watched the trailer and choked on my cringe.

The acting looks so shit. It feels like someone just recorded me reading out dialogues with a high tech camera. Is this the TV acting standard now? In that case hire me opposite Iqbal Khan for the reboot of Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai. 😏

Sufiyan was abusive and way too toxic to even be compared to Sujal. It didnt help that a non-actor like Kushal played the role because even if they wrote the character as a layered character, he made it one-dimentional and I got irritated solely because of his below par acting. Everything about that character became irredeemable. Honestly, when I watched Kahin Toh Hoga, I hated Kashish. Like I felt bad for Sujal and Piyush over Kashish. In this drama, the chemistry obviously was flat but I've never seen a television actor who has made absolutely zero improvements in his acting skills over the years like Kushal. Even Vivian Dsena who I consider wooden is a better actor than Kushal.
