Explanation for Horcrux.

Now I'd be the first person to admit, and LL can vouch for that😊, that I don't take everything at face value but the only explanation that makes sense of how Voldemort unknowingly turned Harry into a Horcrux is this:

"Dumbledore took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
'Tell him that on the night Lord Voldemort tried to kill him, when Lily cast her own life between them as a shield, the Killing Curse rebounded upon Lord Voldemort, and a fragment of Voldemort's soul was blasted apart from the whole, and latched itself onto the only living soul left in that collapsing building. Part of Lord Voldemort lives inside Harry, and it is that which gives him the power of speech with snakes, and a connection with Lord Voldemort's mind that he has never understood. And while that fragment of soul, unmissed by Voldemort, remains attached to and protected by Harry, Lord Voldemort cannot die.'"

Generally speaking one cannot create a Horcrux simply by killing, "there's a spell" as Horace Slughorn puts it that needs to be said to do such a thing. Though, apparently there are special situations as evidenced by Harry the Horcrux explanation above.

cedric was killed by wormy and voldremort wud never give his wand to anyone

and bertha was killed by voldemort according to priori incantem

and ur other theory is also making sense

there is spell to make horcrux otherwise those who killed they cud hv made horcruxes too

like bellatrix she killed sirius

No Voldemort had made FIVE Horcruxes when he came to kill Harry at Godric's Hollow..he planned to make the sixth and final with this murder coz it was v special killing..he wasnt able to.Without his realising it, His soul left in his body got split and sealed itself in Harry..he didnt know it...Harry wasnt MADE a horcrux...Harry was accidently made the keeper of part of Voldy's soul...He wasnt made a Horcrux the usual way it is...
n then...
Harry Destroyed the Diary in Chamber...so Voldy now had only 5 Horcruxes(Poor Bloke..ONLY!😉) SO When He killed Frank Bryce in Lil Hangleton, he made Nagini a Horcrux too...so when he was reborn in Book 4, he had five Horcruxes Remaining, as per his Knowledge, IE: Six Parts of hs soul Safe and Sound...
He didnt run behind making more horcruxes any more...

but he got his own soul blasted and he never realised he had infact created 6th

then nagini became 7th but voldy thought there were 6 horcruxes

his soul was ripped in 8parts which includes one inside him

that shud clear a lot isnt it

Yes, Harry's death would have qualified as a special killing to make his horcrux. So Voldermort would have had intentions to make another one when he killed Harry. Remember he was looking for something from each of teh founders of Hogwarts, so chances are the 7th. Horcrux, would or should have been something of Griffindor (probably the sword), although I'm not sure how he would have gotten it.

This is just my thoughts on this and I'm entirely open to this being wrong, because I think I jsut confused myself thing about this. But ultimately I believe that there were 7 Horcruxes and the part of Voldermort's soul in his body doesn't actually count as one.

It could be possible that Tom Riddle, jr. had only intended to split his soul seven ways and not make seven horcruxes rather - only six.

Perhaps he created one extra then intended.Perhaps he used Nagini because he couldn't find anything of Gryffindor or maybe he didn't particularly care for Gryffindor.
