We had agreed upon a no poiler zone did we not?? A newbie posted the summary. She was banned. No reasonss given, no reasons heard. That was the end of it. Come on guys, just a few days more max, and you can post as long as there's "spoiler" in the title!

I LOVED THE BOOK!!! I detested the 6th book, but it laid a great foundation for this one! I cannot believe the book was so interesting despite the fact that they didn't return to hogwarts! Just too good!

Cried for Fred... Just don't believe it. It is just soo sooo sad!!! Fred of all the bloody people in the world!!!

Mama mia... Tonks and Lupin Thank god he had a god father 😳 Lolz Mr. Teddy snogging victoire lupin 😆 😆

Weren't we right about Aberforth, Harry being a horcrux, Snape still being good, him loving lily and therefore coming back??

See! (Don't post in them, ppl will not want to read the plot spoilers now, will they?)

Aberforth
Snape and lily
Great theory by Aparna -- Snape Lily

Didn't realize how good you feel when you read a book after discussing theories. They were absolutely fabulous!!!

Ravenclaw pride!
Sam++

^ I was shocked too, i had never ever expected Harry to be a Horcrux... wow. Snape and Lily i had suspected before. Great job to all who were thinking of these theories!!👏

Well, I don't really think that the series as a whole fits into either of the two: childrens...adults...

The books have grown up, as the Trio has grown up..and that is one of the most unique parts about this series!

At the end of the day, I would not label them as 'children's' books anymore because the characterization, the plot-line, the complex moral dilemmas against all the major characters---Harry, Dumbledore, Snape, Hermione, Ron, Lily etc etc, are actually very adult things..things you learn or try to learn as you grow up.
And so...who can be then surprised that people as much as 60-70 year old, read and enjoy the series, the characters, and this cannot be more apparent than the burgeoning Harry Potter fandom communities and fansites, the hugest and the most creative fandom I have ever seen for any book series or any movie.

It is a truly unique series.

wow just now finished reading the book, it was awesome and action packed right from the beginning.

I am going to put forth my fav moments of the book

The duplicate Harry potter flying around to protect the original was amazing.

Ron sarcasm filled and witty remarks cute and awesome👏

Hermoine's intelligence coming to the forefront in every part of the book was excellent.

Fred's loss brought a lump to my throat esp to see percy refusing to let go of him.

Snape's story was very touching and again I felt a lump when in his final moments he still tried to help Harry inspite of all that he felt. wow.....My prediction abt him loving lily and his doing something to save lily was again proved right.........yay. I am so happy that he proved to be loyal and courageous.

for me, more than Dumbeldore, it was snape who stole the glory coz he was loyal yet he had to play loyal to voldermort and protect harry yet pretend to tell the dark lord abt him. His idea of duplicate Harry was just out of the world and sending the doe was like awwwww

Ron and hermione's confrontation after he comes back was soooo romantic yet it showed the correct reaction of hermione😳. His saving Harry was also one of the highlight.

some people misunderstand ron's stand as cowardice but then he did it coz of the locket and he himself mentioned it after destroying the locket and also coz of his family suffering. It showed him as a real person with insecurities and love.

Neville .....wow I predicted that he would play a big role in voldermort's defeat and it came true .........awesome scene that👏

Mrs. Weasely battle against bellatrix was another highlight 👏

Ron and hermione atlast confessing their feelings through that kiss was a wonderful sight even though I wanted Ron to make the first move but anyway........looking forward to see the scene in the theatre when the movie gets released.

I just felt that the dumbeldore-Harry convo at the end at Kings cross was kind of boring but then again apart from that the book was awesome.........loved every bit of it.

Great book awesome read and well enjoyed .........will miss it .

1. the book reminds of bangladesh in 1971 ... or europe in 1942 ...

2. hermione was utterly boring , even ron was somewhat greater and more superb than her

3. i was almost in tears when dobby died

4. some parts of it were too long and boring ... some parts of histories brought many unfamiliar names and stories which i felt dragged the book a bit too long

5. snape was kept away for too long.

6. fred and george was really awesome in this book

7. neville rox ... espcially when he beheaded the nagini.

8. it sort of felt as if i was reading a story of mission impossible movie :p

9. the book should have been published with "15+" written on top of it

i think that finding out that snape loved lily and all the help he had given etc was the best plot
i am glad that this was the last book because the story good of dragged and could of got boring anyhow the ending was satisfying and now i feel happy and not sad as i thought i would of felt

i loved the buk ,it was so touching

i cried alot at the deaths especially of fred, dobby, remus, lupin n also snape (*sniff sniff)

the theme of love was also so beautifully handled 😳

DD stood out,he truly is one of the greatest wizard 😊

but personally the best part for me was hermy n ron professing their love, sort of 😆 ......but their timing was very bad 😆

now am just waiting for the movie to be released
