Hey sam....here's the thing from PoA...Dumbledore's speech to Harry about magic and its consequences!

Ok the consequences bit was just the starting thing which made me think...

"Pettigrew owes his life to you. You have sent Voldemort a deputy who is in your debt…. When one wizard saves another wizard's life, it creates a certain bond between them… and I'm much mistaken if Voldemort wants his servant in the debt of Harry Potter

Well..Voldemort did use Pettigrew inspite of his debt to Harry but that was bcoz he was desperate...and I'm thinking now whether NOW Voldemort might dispose off Pettigrew. As it is he's sucha useless clump of flesh...and now Voldey has got his other servants as well!

But what do you think about the magial bond b/w Harry and Wormtail??? Doesen't it remind you of the bond b/w the Triwizard Champions and the Goblet of Fire?? Like it is irreversible and you have no control over it??? Likewise maybe, Peter will HAVE to fulfill his debt to Harry...
Also...the debt has been treated as a bond...a connection b/w the two..

1. That Peter owes Harry and it will help him in future, is very important.
2. Peter had something about him becoz of which he was a marauder in the forst place.
3. Sirius Black and James Potter are adorable.
