"Hasn't your experience with the Time-Turner taught you anything, Harry? The consequences of our actions are always so complicated, so diverse, that predicting the future is a very difficult business indeed…. Professor Trelawney, bless her, is living proof of that…. You did a very noble thing, in saving Pettigrew's life."
Ok the consequences bit was just the starting thing which made me think...
"Pettigrew owes his life to you. You have sent Voldemort a deputy who is in your debt…. When one wizard saves another wizard's life, it creates a certain bond between them… and I'm much mistaken if Voldemort wants his servant in the debt of Harry Potter
Well..Voldemort did use Pettigrew inspite of his debt to Harry but that was bcoz he was desperate...and I'm thinking now whether NOW Voldemort might dispose off Pettigrew. As it is he's sucha useless clump of flesh...and now Voldey has got his other servants as well!
But what do you think about the magial bond b/w Harry and Wormtail??? Doesen't it remind you of the bond b/w the Triwizard Champions and the Goblet of Fire?? Like it is irreversible and you have no control over it??? Likewise maybe, Peter will HAVE to fulfill his debt to Harry...
Also...the debt has been treated as a bond...a connection b/w the two..
"I don't want a connection with Pettigrew!" said Harry. "He betrayed my parents!"
"This is magic at its deepest, its most impenetrable, Harry. But trust me… the time may come when you will be very glad you saved Pettigrew's life."
So whaddaya think guyz?
