exactly..this forms the basis of his character..everything he does or says is wit the basic idea of "whats in it for him?" ..but the weak idiot couldnt do anything for himself if he tried 8-| so tht good lil ol leech stuck to ppl higher than him with lot of influence 😡

He then hid out in the Weasleys house after LV's demise and was well poised to kill Harry at a word's notice...
He encountered Sirius and Remus again in 1993 when the former had run away from Azkaban...and it was only because of Harry, James's son that he was saved from a well deserved death.

well deserved is right [-( why does that hp boy hav to be so noble :-< but he was right..in thinkin james wouldnt want his best friends to turn murderers 😳 hai na jamesy 😉..neway its just like sirius said..wormy hung arnd in the weasleys as a hideout ..and was prepared to strike only if he knew voldy was back again 8-|

Due to this...Peter's indebted to Harry..acc. to Dumbledore in PoA. In GoF...he has shown no inclination towards any regret about his actions and is seen actively helping his current boss.

well we all kno that pretty much everything dumbledore says turns out right..but that apart i think its true that peters indebted to harry..saving someones life is not a small task..somewhere in the back of his mind peter is bound to feel indebted..i mean it can move the most non-existent of consciences 😆..n we have another example in hp only..snape saved harry as he felt indebted to james..he may have been acting on dumbys orders to protect harry..but dumby himself told harry that he did it to satisfy his own mind..and snape,whether good or bad,is a clever man with a mind of his own 😆 unlike petes 😳 and if he can be so indebted then its sure petey will also do something in harrys favour...

Acc. to JKR...Peter's debt to Harry is going to be important to the plot..

hey james..this reminds me..remmbr what u told me abt mirror plots..snape saved harrys life due to his indebtedness to james..that was book 1..might it be mirrored in book 7? 😉:-?

So I ask you...the Peter Triumvirate...

Will Peter...

• Go on serving Lord Voldemort...? no he wont

OR

• Repent and fulfill his debt to Harry..? yes he will

OR

• Go on serving Voldemort...but yet fulfill his debt to Harry...even though unwillingly??well i feel he'll do it willingly..the guys gotta show some sense sometime..n see that voldy's treating him lyk dirt..n hell rmmbr his debt to harry at the opportune moment n do somethin or the othr to help him..there have been 2 books since GoF but we havent seen the importance of pete's hand..n i bet his hand will figure in helping harry..after all the things ive said against him so far..i still believe he can show a sudden good character..u kno..the weak talentless thing suddenly bursts forth with some inspired talent 😆 totally filmy but i wont mind if it happens 😆..n once again i say hell use that hand of his against voldy..think abt it..voldy hands pete a weapon,pete uses it against voldy himself..is this what is known as poetic justice? 😆

neway id like to add..even if i said petes will turn good..i have to stress exactly how much i HATE him 😡 hate him hate him HATE him..i can stand weakness 8-| but i CANT stand betrayal n someone who leaves their best friend to die 😡 n sends another best friend to jail for years n years on the charge of killing said best friend 😡😡

especially if said prisoner of azkaban is the absolute sweetest most nice n of crse handsomest guy in magicville 😳😳😳

hmm..not in a snap..petes was the first to return to voldy n he expected to be treated royally..like the best n most loyal servant ..instead he was treated lyk dirt n we saw him bein sulky over the fact tht voldy called crouch the most loyal..pete may be as weak n talentless as voldy calls him but he wont appreciate being reminded of tht 😆 so his unhappiness has been building for 3 years[since PoA]...

He is also heavily indebted to Lor Voldemort... His hand, his life...! He dare not go against him.

u realise it was voldy who made him take away d hand in d first place ? 😆 n since when does petes owe voldy his life? mebbe indirectly cos voldy protects him..but only bcos voldy needs petes service..hes jst using petes..n petey is bound to realise so soon...

Perhaps we might have the guilt about betraying James, and then being indebted to Harry... But honestly i doubt an idiotic rat like him could possible do anything as honourable as repaying his debt, or have the guts to join the OotP.

mebbe he wont join ootp..but he might repay..dumby said it na ☺️

petey was a marauder nd u marauder luvers knw wht tht means. so he must have bin sumthing for them to trust him... something more than a stupid tag along u knw... and he must hv bin something to get into gryffindor...
so keeping it all in mind, i think our petey can surprise us!!!! n i agree too..not bcos he was a marauder..i relly feel he was more of a tagalong..n he wasnt too gr8 n all...thr were loads better ppl than him who wud b up for makin mischief n more capable of bein a marauder than peter..but he was willin to do nethin the maruaders asked him to..so in a way i feel marauders might hv used him too ..but they dint exactly mistreat him..n apart frm the teasing they were civil to him..
