Is it the Malfoy wands ? ( Draco's as well as Lucious's ) .. Bellatrix's wand ? .. the elder wand ?

Could be wands as well, like Akash said, but maybe Harry and Voldy's wands? Twin cores. Or Elder Wand? But none of that happened in book 3 I think.

^^ True , the books clue doesn't fit in with the wands , the best guess would be twin cores but that too happens in only book 4 .. my guess was purely based on the clue in isolation .. 😆

It could be owls or pets or any other thing which has an owner but used by another ..

Our owner may be some other and used u saw by another.

Scabbers was owned by Ron but used by Voldy. He was "explored" in book 3, we saw Peter in book4 but I don't know what role he played in book 6. And seventh - maybe Harry-Peter? Peter had that mercy moment... He was independent as a rat but depended on the weasleys for news about the wizrding world maybe. 😕
